Regarding the blueberries, I had been buying them in the 200g packs then they changed to 160g then 150g and they were still displaying the shelf barker for 200g, very naughty so I have reported them to the ASA along with the current 2 for 16 on beers as the TV ad clearly shows guinness in the offer but its not instore

Sadly, this is one of the more common tricks of retailers (and manufacturers) of getting more profit from an unsuspecting customer - charge the same but sell less of something. They get away with it as most of us are Price focused and we are less likely to notice 25% decreases in product weight - especially if the packaging looks the same. It takes an eagle eye to notice it.

Well done for spotting it and thanks for bringing it to our attention.

A while ago, when garage forecourts were forced to display prices by the Litre rather than by the Gallon, it gave the false impression of it being cheap - sadly, I'm old enough to remember it when it was closer to £1.30 a gallon rather than £1.30 a litre (that's £5.85 a gallon!).

Hahaha that's so cool putting speakers through the till and pretending not to notice a £50 overcharge when you pay :D

    Love it hahaha :D

Just been to Tesco Eaglescliffe where the Muller Vitality yogurt drinks 6pk were, I'm sure, 2 for £3. Scanned at £1 a pack, so a saving of £1 from the already special offer. Hurrah! (Just a shame they refused to take any of my internet coupons)

    Tesco pre-packed Organic Carrots 750g, SEL 89p, charged £1.00.

Only 22p DTD, but I queued up for it at CS on principle.

Ginsters Cornish Pasty - out of date SEL as BOGOF, £1.11 each. Bought 2 (would have bought more if I'd looked at the SEL properly!) and got DTD of £2.50!!! If she can't work out 2 x 111 then I despair for the future of Mr T's!!

They are actually on promo for 1 pound, which is a good saving.

Ah righty. Obviously they've left the old promo up by mistake.

In the new Tesco Direct Catalogue, theres a HD TV in there priced at £2.79 (i think as i cant find mine right now) !!!! Obviously its a misprint, but would you be able to order it at that price, because thats the price its printed as so they have to legally sell you it?
