 whether you're right in your thinking or not ianonline, I'm sure Tesco don't miss a trick where giving away money is concerned and at cs if it's noticed on your receipt that you've already been given dtd on something then I'm sure you'll have an argument on your hands whether they give you the full amount back or just the amount less dtd you've already had.

I like to know my legal rights before I stand and argue the toss in a shop and I don't know in this case so that's why I was happy with the result.

BOGOF ended yesterday, but still lots of old labels around showing the offer. Bought 2 mars and 2 creme egg 3 packs, charged full price, and very politely given a full refund.

    Ditto

Searched for these yesterday as the offer was going to finish with no joy. Today lots with new (2 for £2) and old sign together. Was paid to take them away as they forgot to deduct the new multi savings.

Also found Mach 3 razor blades, pack of four on the clearance shelf for half price (on SEL)but scanned at full price so got these for free too. I was looking for the cheap bulbs and had not checked the main razors as the customer service guy did and surprise surprise there were more there at the full price. Might be worth checking the reduced to clear shelf!

Someone in front of me was getting a DTD on a salad pot of some sort? Coleslaw or something 2 for £2.50. The customer service lady came back saying she did not understand the offer and signs also as differant product or something...sorry a bit vague I know!

Big board hanging above end of chicken aisle saying "Healthy Living Chicken Fillets 580-800g Half Price (9.99 crossed out with 4.99)".
None of this at end of aisle but was in chicken section down the aisle at full price. Scanned 2 packs at full price ( £14.80 for the two ). Told CS, she weighed them at deli and put new price tickets on them at 1/2 price wanted to credit me full price and then charge me for new price. I mentioned DTD, she got a bit flustered played with her calculator. I pointed out that DTD meant a full refund on something that was advertised at half price but charged at full price. She gave me full refund then got confused and told me that can't be right because I was getting the chicken for free. Yep thats right my dear.
Told her my mum had a similar thing happen to her at xmas (a lie). Thanks again and off I went.
Funny thing was she didn't remove the overhead board. I was too chicken to try it again. Dont want to get my face known if you now what I mean. Good luck anyone who goes to the St Peters Tesco in Worcester
    Please don't critasize my spelling

Bought 2 x 1kg bags on Baby New Potatoes last night, SEL was 2 for £1.28, yet £1.28 each, however, was charged £2.00. DTD received of £1.44, so just 56p for 2kgs of potatoes! HTHS!

Tesco Ingredients range, Olive Oil for cooking, 500ml. SEL was BOGOF, but offer finished on 16th. So free oil! Not located by the oils, but by the herbs & spices.

Also noticed a Technica Boombox, SEL was £30 something pence, £30 off original price, yet offer was valid until 4/3/08.

Both offers found in a Tesco Extra store. HTHS!

It does not matter if the SEL is out of date. Usually the date is tiny in comparison to the price. I think I am right that any conditions to an offer should be in the same type and size as the main price (Sale of goods act). The fact that an out of date SEL is left up is definately misleading and Trading Standards will not look favourably. Call head office and tell them and they will force the store to DTD. You should get all your mmoney back and keep the item as was half price on the SEL.
I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.
