Noting your comment re: token - I have asked in-store where the Wine Club postings are. I feel they're late this quarter, or am I simply over-eager? Was this the source of your token?
Hope you ran back for that 2nd bott!

Its worth having a look at the photo albums in Extra stores - most of them had a promo on until the 28th Feb. I have spotted quite a few with the old yellow SELS on and double the difference makes them free (most were half price). I am pretty sure that any with yellow SELS on will be a misprice. This is also the case in the wedding section (invites/confetti etc). A couple of the Nottingham stores still had the wrong prices on photo albums today ;)

edit - also forgot to add to look out for bakery products put in the wrong packaging. My local is constantly putting a seeded organic baguette (£1.29) in the standard organic baguette bag (0.79p). There is a barcode on the bag that scans at 0.79p. However, they also put a label on the front (that the cashier will scan) that goes through at 1.29. When the baguette gets passed through, it tends to scan the second (incorrect) barcode on the wrong packaging, essentially charging twice for the same item. Despite this happening several times to me alone, they can't be bothered to cover the second barcode...

When Mr T replaced R&R with DtD, the "double scan" was explicitly mentioned on their website as the only time you would get your money back and keep the product. I don't think that statement is there now, but I'm sure that's what happened. Obviously, they didn't think they could manage to o/c people by more than half price at that point.

ampersand - I raised an R&R'd glass of bubbly on the anniversary, but as they say, "the King is dead, long live the King".........
I tried looking at the website and found no mention of any overcharging policy at all. If anyone knows where to find it can they post a link. Thanks.

Hardys Crest Brut Rose was on promotion - half price so £4.97 (within a couple of pence) but I was charged £9.98. Promotion finished yesterday but posters still up (taken down now in my store) - nice free wine.

Tonight I picked up tesco own brand blue oven gloves SEL says £1.68, scanned at 84p!!! Also look out for Branston Pickle. The 560g (or it may be 520g) glass jar is marked and scans at 29p. The smaller one is a lot more at around 96p. Not sure if it's a miss price, but seams good value to me!

I was in our local tesco's this morning and thy have a large sale on Hardware type items.

One of the items I bought was a rubber seal strip for windows and doors, for those of you who don't know they are used to stop any wind getting through your doors (or windows). They were priced at 75p, but scanned at £1.50.

went to CS desk and was given double the difference in return = free energy saving window seal!

the item has a barcode of 051622313325, is brown in colour and was the rubber version (also a foam version which scanned at 75p, half normal price).

the item you want is the rubber version! total length is 10m and it fills gaps of (aprox) 3-5mm.

    good luck.

What is the tesco policy when returning an item that you have received DTD on?

Their policy does not (and legally cannot) effect your statutory rights as a consumer. Therefore, you should be treated as everyone else. Bet it don't happen like that though.

Hardy's Semillon Sauvingnon Blanc on offer for £3.98, was charged £5.98, so DTD £4, not a bad wine for £1.98 a bottle! Offer finished yesterday on SEL so worth looking out for. HTHS.

Also got some Hardys Crest Brut Rose at a different store, thank you very much to post #1971  !
