Absolutely yes. I believe this circumstance was explicitly mentioned in the "new" definition of DtD when it replaced R&R, in that double scans would result in a full refund and you get to keep the product.
Darn! I heard the scanner beep again as the SA was folding some trousers to put in the bag so not wanting to be charged twice, I asked her to check and they had double scanned so she voided. It was only as I was leaving that I remembered about DTD.

If something gets scanned twice by mistake, is that considered a misprice and eligible for DTD?
Technically it is not a misprice and therefore not eligible for DTD. It is just a cashier error than should be recitified by refunding the scanned amount.

A misprice (and DTD) is when you are charged a higher price than that on the product or shelf, this has not happened.
I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

I was given DTD by CS last week when an item had been scanned twice by cashier. Good job I'd checked my reciept! ;)

Can you all stop using this thread for discussion please. You are wasting our time. THIS IS FOR MISPRICES ONLY. If you want to discuss things in detail then please use the other threads provided.

If you find an item that is mispriced then please place it in this thread but if you want to talk about geeky maths and blondes then find another thread to talk about this on.

Don't remember leaving you in charge McDonut.

Seem to recall that you caused many problems on the old Discussion Thread.

Close the door on your way out ;)

Nah, just stay and be good.

Hello there - just scanned a bottle of Kendermanns organic white (2006) at Tesco's, expecting the price to be £5.29.....and was very surprised to find the price on my receipt as £2.64! Don't know if this was a complete fluke, but just saved £2.65 and it's a nice drop of wine!!!

Where are the other misprice threads?

I tried to search and ended up with discussions from 2006.

    Please post links.

Afraid these have gone - related back to the R&R fun at Tesco.

This thread looks primarily at DTD - lots less fun...
