    Heya everyone,

I saw the bacon post last night, and went to Tesco today, after getting some petrol! So I walked around the store, then found the DANEPACK bacon, then as I looked at the Shelf Price is said £1.88, then abouce it said 2 for £3.00, then I saw the buy one get one free sticker on it. All looked well UNTIL!!!

They put up like a mini disclaimer! It said "The 2 for £3 offer overrides the BOGOF sticker on the packaging' - I stood there for a little while, and was wondering what to do, but I swear, that the disclaimer isn't enough, its like a bottle of Lemonade having a 99p sticker on it, but you still get charged £1.09!

Do you see what I mean? ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Bacon still out there. I got 6 packs, sell by 1/3/08 @1.85 each with BOGOF stickers. No discount. CS were shut so I got Duty Manager to sort out. He was going to give me the difference so I said "DTD?" He said "we dont do that anymore". "So this big blue sign saying DTD???" "Oh they were going to take that down, we will now be doing just the difference."

Anyway got DTD which meant all my money back!!:T It is DANEPAK Thick Cut 8 rashers, marked as half price from £3.70 but make sure yours has the BOGOF and no "mini-disclaimer" sign.

Here is a question for the rest of you... What if they took a big black marker pen and crossed through the BOGOF sticker. Would that be enough??
I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

Campingaz Camp Bistro on a white sel stating 'NEW' £3.00 scanned at £15.00.

This is a one burner stove in a black carry case, barcode 3138522030483.

Little story with this.. I was just glancing over the camping range & the price just jumped out at me.. I thought 'WOW' that's really cheap, took it to clothing desk to check the price & it was £15.00.. Went back to the shelf & noticed that the barcodes were different but the description was spot on & there wasnt any other place the stove could go.. So I picked up 2 & went & paid for them.. Charged £30.00 so straight to CS, for some strange reason the price went through the till at £15.00 but when put through the computer system it went through at £3.00.. After much fussing from 3 CS women, 1 wanting to refund me £30 then charge me £6.00, 1 agreeing with me it should be dtd, 1 stating it dosent count as the barcodes are different, me being adament 'how am I suppose to read barcodes'.. led to a call to the manager who agreed the o/c so £48.00 back an unmarked receipt & 2 stoves.. Already returned for cash as I really want a double with a grill...

My friends managed 2 of these but I've searched another 5 stores & none stock the item.. I hope others manage to find them...
  • Just done my Tesco Shop and brought some Tetley Teabags (160s). SEL says 2 for £4.50 but the box that the packets are stacked (and presumably delivered in) said 2 for £4. Thats a 50p double the difference refund on each packet.
7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers

Can I enquire which store you got yours in?
    Also your friends success?

    Anyone else find any?
Give me an idea about how widespread.

I'm not bothered about DTD I'd just like to buy 1 or 2 at £3 for camping.
Shame you returned yours - I'd have given you £5 each !
