Unfortunately, CS have taken you for a ride!!!
the fierce CS at my store wasnt having any of it!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have found its no point in complaining to hO cos they dont answer u back0 -

I agree with you, but its still wrong!!
I have often wondered if it is a general scam where if tesco CS only give you the difference, do they actually til in DTD and pocket the extra themselves??
Perhaps HO should look into these refunds a bit more............If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.
My way is Atkins0 -
I mentioned thisb4 , the cs do tend to NOT give u DTD ,and only do so when u ask.
and the strange thing is they do it straight away after u ask...well in some cases// therefore like u say I think they do pocket the difference themselves when customers dont know or dont ask!!!!!0 -
Heya everyone,
I saw the bacon post last night, and went to Tesco today, after getting some petrol! So I walked around the store, then found the DANEPACK bacon, then as I looked at the Shelf Price is said £1.88, then abouce it said 2 for £3.00, then I saw the buy one get one free sticker on it. All looked well UNTIL!!!
They put up like a mini disclaimer! It said "The 2 for £3 offer overrides the BOGOF sticker on the packaging' - I stood there for a little while, and was wondering what to do, but I swear, that the disclaimer isn't enough, its like a bottle of Lemonade having a 99p sticker on it, but you still get charged £1.09!
Do you see what I mean? ANY SUGGESTIONS?Mortgage for £212000 - 10/17 for 35 years!
Aiming to overpay each year as close to 10% as possible!0 -
oh there was no 2 for £3 last night at my store and no disclaimer!!!!
But yes ur correct about a price on a prodct...and only being charged at that price!!!0 -

Are Tesco employees on some kind of bonus if they don't pay out correctly ? I had to ask for double the difference.0 -

This effectively comes down to reasonableness.
If the disclaimer is large enough to get noticed by the casual shopper, then the store is "probably" OK. HOWEVER, I feel that each packet should have the label removed.0 -
I have just been thinking (difficult), that this is a Tesco Mis-price thread. Why is there not a Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Somerfield, Waitrose, Marks and Spencer, Co-op etc., Mis-price thread? Is it only The English Supermarket COmpany that makes mistakes????
Your conscience has kicked in LOL ,generally AFAIK most other supermarkets refund you the difference only.
I think ASDA offer a £2 gift voucher per item and the difference back(please anyone to help as I've never been o/c in ASDA.)
I think it's safe to say that Tescos are the biggest offenders as they're the biggest supermarket.
p.s. It's nice to get a reward for doing their job for them:rotfl:
