My first misprice spot (only small but every little helps!)
4 pack of Sharon Fruit, marked as £1.49, go through at £1.99, so a shiny £1 back in my wallet.0 -
Leapfrog Clickstart has been on sale a while - SEL showed £23.xx and was in the toys clearance section.
So was delighted when I finally purchased one today, and got charged £49.97!!!!! (how sad am I being pleased at such a huge overcharge?!!)
So off to CS, SEL checked (and removed sadly) and a very tasty DTD of £53.50 :T SO One free Clickstart, and a nice discount off my other shopping!
HTHS
P.S worth looking out for these toy sale SEL's - some have expired and no-one has bothered to take them down I was told. V. nice CS lady too0 -
just furious me!!!!
just back from tescos
the DANEPAK 350g bacon was on sale for £1.85 at half price....but also on each pack its had on it BOGOF so I of course pick up 2 packs.
BOGOF didnt come off so I go to CS.
She said the computers were not taking off the BOGOF so thats why the bacon was half price!!!!!
Anyways still got a no for an answer so I gave up after a bit of arguing.
So I said I wanted a refund for 1 pack since it was not BOGOF.....and she said she had to check to see if she can do that????
Again I was nearly shouting at her...I mean why can I not have a refund...I hadnt even been out of the store..
anyways she strolled out of CS and looked about for 10 seconds..muttered she couldnt find anyone and reluctantly gave me a refund on 1 pack which I didnt need now it wasnt BOGOF!!!
maybe the rest of u can check it out in ur tescos...

I've been umming and ahhing over buying the boxed set of denbyware that's been on offer since xmas. was originally £130.00 for a 12 piece/4 settings box. reduced to £65 after xmas and then to £50. i finally bit the bullet today and went to get 2 sets, imagine my joy at the checkout when I discovered it is half price again - £25 per box I was charged, which is a bargain for denby..
BTW SEL still reading £50
:j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j
Which range/style of Denby was that please? (Blue Linen, Imperial Blue etc?)0 -
new to this, have been reading, refunds are double the difference. I have not seen or been aware of this, does anyone know if this applies to Northern Ireland. Thanks in advance.0

I think it is entirely reasonable to expect to pay £1.85 and get the BOGOF, based on what you've said. I would have asked for a manager, or even shown the packaging to some one passing by and asked them what they would have expected to have paid, based on the advertising - trying to shame the CSA into the Dtd.
There is some time limit to when they can refund on chilled goods - I think it's 20 minutes, which is probably why she queried it.
BTW, I've been told in the past that as I've not left the store, the transaction isn't complete and DtD/R&R doesn't apply........Is that the theme tune to Jackanory I can hear over the tannoy.......go on CSA, tell me another story...........just furious me!!!!

When I got overcharged yesterday I only got the difference back and not double.I looked at all the signs behind cs and it didn't say double the difference. So I walked away, but is this right? Is it Tesco policy to honour double or is it down to discretion?Bit confused!!!Sarah-Lou loves a freebie, a bargain or a wine!:beer:0

If the big blue board is not up behind customer services, check out the A5 signs at every till. They should state what the overcharge policy is.0 -
Thanks Gary.So does this mean that every store is different in their policies?Sarah-Lou loves a freebie, a bargain or a wine!:beer:0

I was recently mis-priced on a sandwich (60p). I went to CS and they refunded double the difference (£1,20) no questions asked. This happened at the Newtownbreda store in Belfast, so yes this does apply to Northern Ireland :cheesy:0
