Hi this is a new series of books, hard back (but the cover is soft) it is from the Night Garden. The Tomliboos:the waving game book was stickered up as £1.50 (no shelf labels for books in my store) however the Makka Pakka from the same range was £3.
The scanner was not working as usual so I though 1 of them must be mispriced so took a gamble which paid off.
Tomliboos book went through as £3 so DTD was £3 refund...result Tesco paying you £1.50 to take this away.Nice lady on CS said "you will get double the difference back",very nicely..
There were loads still stickered up in my local yesterday, so worth lookking
Hope this helps someone
Surely you only get the book for free as you paid £3 and T's give you £3 back !Watch out for Freddie the Fox at the Shay !!0 -

Hi, the tomliboos book was £1.50 hence £3 dtd so get it free + £1.50.....the other book in the series we brought was £3 and we paid for that - sorry if I didnt make it clear.
Noooo! - you paid £3 instead of £1.50, so your dtd was £3, which means you got a free book. That's it - you didn't get an extra £1.50 :rolleyes:I love a nice juicy "kebab"...0 -
Jaffacat- reread what you just posted. You got the book free as initially you paid £3 for it. The cashier gave you back £3 (£1.50 difference x2) - the money you actually paid. Hence you got it free.
If you got £4.50 - an extra £1.50 back then someone made a mistake!0 -
Just come back from my local tesco and brought some birdseye fishfingers pack of twelve on offer at 99p but still scanning at 1.99 so you can get 2 pound back hope this helps :j0

On display in centre of store near deli counter - Nice Bergerac Rouge Merlot Cabernet - Soft Fruity Red Wine.
Was £4.99, reduced to £2.49 and SEL stuck to a huge sign saying selected wines 342.
Checked with wine man stacking up the boxes and he said - yep on 342, and if you buy 6 also the 5% kicks in too.
Bought 6 @£2.49 = £14.94 (rude not to), 5% reduction (75p) kicked in, but no 342.
Trip to CS, much ado between staff, calmly requested DTD on the £4.98 overcharge, eventually £9.96 refund.
6 bottles of nice drinkable red for £4.23 :T

I've been umming and ahhing over buying the boxed set of denbyware that's been on offer since xmas. was originally £130.00 for a 12 piece/4 settings box. reduced to £65 after xmas and then to £50. i finally bit the bullet today and went to get 2 sets, imagine my joy at the checkout when I discovered it is half price again - £25 per box I was charged, which is a bargain for denby..
BTW SEL still reading £50

Pasta Bake, should be 2 for £x (can't remember) but they went through individually at £1.49.
Complained to customer services. They where going to give me a poor £1.74 refund. I said thought it was double difference and I got £3.48 refund.
Is this correct?
