Hi dorajar
Was it any particular flavour, etc??0 -
Apologies if this has been posted before but what happens with online prices?
I'm aware that when you place your order, your order value may change.. but what happens if the price doubles? (there was no promotions on at the time) I ordered my shopping last night before I went to bed got charged the following...
4 x Nouvelle Quiltedt/Tissue White 4 Roll 900 Sheet Each £0.92 = £3.68
2 x White Potatoes 2.5kg Pack Each £1.00 = £2.00
1 x Cif Power Cream Kitchen Spray Each £1.58 = £1.58
Now there were no promotions on last night on any of the above items yet I got charged:-
£1.84 each for the Nouvelle = £7.96 on toilet roll
£1.12 for the potatoes
£2.39 for the Cif Power Spray
I just got off the phone to their customer services & they have refunded me the difference but should I have had the full value refunded?
Thx
BA
- BTW the Nouvelle now shows at the full price. Mummy to Charlie & 2 beautiful twins due on Valentine's Day

You say that there were no promotions, but what Tesco do is remove online promotional material for a discount the day before the promotion ends, but only update the actual price the next day. Thus, for example, while it may not have been advertised as such, the Nouvelle was on half price offer up until last night.
You did well to get a refund of the difference. I don't think there's any way you could hope for a full refund, especially as the misprice policy does not apply to online orders.

in the freezer section (this was in Edinburgh) there was a big sign saying half price 99p but it came up on the tills as 1.99. got me a big shiny two pound coin back :T0
