  • Bought a three pack of 12-18 month tee shirts with dinosaurs on reduced in sale from £6 to £3 scanned at £6 was given £6 DtD from a very chirpy CS girl in Cheltenham Tesco.
Ps a lot of alchohol special offers finish today worth checking 2moro if you don't have any fosters left.
    Please don't critasize my spelling
  • I bought 2 x Tesco Take Away Samosa & Bhaji pack 110g (2mini samosa & 2 mini onion bhaji in each pack) SEL said 99p each or 2 for £1 so I bought 2 but was charged £1.98.

Went to Cs who agreed I'd been overcharged and she offered me just 99p. I said don't you do double the difference any more? Oh no, not anymore, she says!

What does it say on the board behind you? I say. She mumbles to her colleague, they both look shifty then they say oh yes you are right after all and give me the extra 99p! Free lunch - thankyou!

This is a clear case of attempted fraud - what the hell do these CS people think they're doing?

I`ve noticed in all three Tesco near me, none of them half double the difference on the boards behind customer service anymore.....

Hi, I bought a PIC-A-PAC nestle kids cereals, £1.15 on the shelf. Got home checked my receipt they charged me £1.55. So went to CS and she refunded me full £1.55. Was only expecting 80p refund. Well pleased. :D

  • Hi All,

Today noticed a POS stating that Special K 500g AND Crunchy Nut 750g were 2 for £2.50 expiry 3.2.08. Only one label on a high shelf. Crunchy nut 750g is £2.58 each, must be a pricing error as last week this was 2 for £2.50 on 500g boxes. I bought a few boxes and was overcharged! Went to CS and got DTD of £5.32, so got paid 16p for every two I bought LMFAO! kids will be eating them until x-mas as the best before date is 2009!

reminds me of the good old R&R days, sigh....
  • i got the 750g last week but it went through 2 for "2.50

These rainbow sandwich bags...last time they were on offer for 20p my store still had them at 89p.
What is the difference in the packaging as I want the cheaper box, I prefer the picture on the box, LOL.

Tried this in Tewkesbury Extra went through at £1.06 but discounted at bottom of receipt so scanning correctly

Went back Tesco to get my refund, full of apologies, said they had lots of customers complaining. The offer should have read 2 for £1.50, if you buy two of the same ( 2 Plain or 2 Self-raising). Got my DTD, no problem
  • I was in Buckingham Tesco at 1.30 today and one of the supervisors was going round the tills warning the operators to watch the price on bread as one loaf scanned at £77.77!!!!! I hope the person got DTD:beer:
