I bought 2 packs of glue today and was sure the price tag was 25p ( I have just confirmed that by reading that someone on here paid 25p) but have been charged £1.00 for each. Unfortunately I didn't look at my receipt till I got home so will have to go back to Tesco's tomorrow. Do they still do DTD refund?

Are you sure you bought the same product ?
Just that I didn't read your glue as the "glue" mentioned here (if this is the post you are refering to)

Be warned be very careful in this store, I have had numerous r n r's here and am not supposed to go there anymore evertime another lie from the management - they only remebered me because of the console fiasco :D
So they refuse to refund me anything at all. Also get followed on camera by security - i know for a fact from someone in the know ;)

I get exactly the same treatment in two of my "locals" I got banned from one over (what they called) my "repeatedly abusing the refund policy" but called their bluff by going for a meeting with the store manager and getting the ban overturned. I now get followed around the store by the manager while he pretends to be looking busy.

The other store arent quite so subtle, I get followed by either a security guard or one of the senior CS staff, and when I say followed, I mean they are about 2 paces behind me at all times, they will also pick up everything I pick up and check the prices of it!

Its nice to know I had that effect on them, I still get the same treatment now, over a year since I got my R&R PSP.

It just makes me laugh to be honest, as all the while they are following me they cant see my OH using the price checker and going to CS for the DtD
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

ROFLMAO,this has happened to me in a few Tescos, the diversion tactic is great,my OH does the same,it's really quite amusing to see so many staff follow you around while all the thieves are filling their pockets up,I mean at least we were honest and paid first with the R+R :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • Not sure if this in in the rightplace but the baco rainbow sandwich bags for children x30 with the stickers are now 25p a box instore and online, i got a funny look when i bought 24 boxes this morning but my kids love sticking the stickers to the insides of their lunch boxes every day and this has saved me a fortune.
I will save my tesco £1 savings stamps this year! .......so far = £50 (full card#1)
Card #2 £6. I will not be skint at Chistmas this year!

    Total £56

Indeed those Baco Sandwich bags are only 25p. The label doesnt say Discontinued or Reduced To Clear. On line they are 25p too. Its surely an error.

They're normally about £1 each so I purchased 10 of them.
