The Jean Christof Novelli mediterainnean rigatelli is still avaialable, I just got 10, and is scanning at 1p - its really delicious too!

Is this in the frozen or fresh section please?
  • Hi Josie,
sorry I should have said, it is in the frozen food section, there are other types of meals by Jean Christophe there on offer at £1.99, but this one has a shelf price of £2.99 and definately scans at 1p.

Is it a vegetarian Rigatoni dish, or is there some meat or fish in there?
One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.

There's always one isn't there, someone has asked for advice, I have given it, I suggest if you have a problem with that you report the offending posts to admin and I've no doubt in due course this thread will too get shut down as did the discussion thread because of this very same attitude, how did you find out about and how to use the policy by the way? Was it from Tesco or this site? If from this site then where because in case you hadn't noticed there is no discussion thread here anymore because of people constantly whining about it. Having looked back over your previous posts they seem to consist wholly of your seeking advice from other members on how you may personally gain, yet you feel free to obstruct others from doing so.

It's little wonder long term posters are moving away from this forum in droves lately.

grow up. i'm sorry to express an opinion, i meant on the whole, not just your single comment.

There is no meat or fish, but there is blue cheese.

  • Should maybe have mentioned this on my previous post but I bought a t-shirt, hot pink, they only had plus sizes in my local store, sizes 22 through 28.
Was stickered at 50p, scanned at £1.50 so got a full refund and kept the t-shirt.

  • Hiya,

Last week I was lucky enough to get some of the end of stock Tesco Finest cookware which was going through the tills at less than £5 per item (inc 20% off homeware promotion) and when I was shopping last night I spotted 2 of the large stock pots (old handle style) SEL £30. I had only paid £5.24 for mine last monday. I picked them both up went to CS explained that I wanted to know the price as the SEL was for the NEW style Finest range and not for this particular OLD style Finest stockpot. The CS lady was very nice, called an assistant who said the price must be £30 as thats what the shelf said. I rummaged in my handbag(took a while :o ) but found my receipt which showed I only paid £5.24 last week and so, after a genuinely pleasant chat with the manager, I got to purchase them at that price.:T

Now before anyone says I should of bought them at £30 and then tried for DTD, they had NO barcodes or labels of any description , and the initial response from CS was that they couldnt sell them at all without a label/code. It was only because I had proof of a previous purchase that I got them. Therefore I am certain I wouldn't of been able to achieve a DTD on my stockpots.

Please don't let me put off anyone who can A) find more of this stock B) prove an overcharge, as ALL SEL show the full price for the NEW Tesco Finset cookware range.

    Hope this helps someone,

P.s the original offer was post over on HOTUKDEALS last week.
