Tesco misprices thread 7 - please only post misprices here

Russel Hobbs Kettle priced at £49.97 last night at my local Tesco Extra, and it actually scanned at £24 - it's the new energy saving stainless steel kettle, a great buy if you need a kettle!.

This store have put their r&r signs back up and there is a possible misprice on Ocean's 13.

Chart shelf displays £13.fx but cardboard pos at the end of the row shows £12.xx. Haven't tried scanning it, but its there for the taking.

Yeah I saw this one today but DTD of £2 - I left it.

You say R&R signs have gone back up???

Can you confirm - anyone else noticed this?

Can they refuse to give you DTD if you buy 10 items? Just thinking about it.

No. At best they could argue a maximum purchase/bulk buy policy which is usually 6 items but this arguement is wasted considering they allowed you to purchase 10.

I'm not too up on refund rights, but can you take back food or non food items back the same day (even to a different tesco's) and get a refund on them even if they aren't faulty?

Are DTD terms and condtions listed anywhere?

And last of all, when customer services give you DTD, do they give you a fresh reciept? Otherwise you could get a refund at the higher price?

They will accept chilled products within 30 mins of receipt time and yes at different store. Yes also to refund even if not faulty.

DTD is listed behind every customer service desk and at tillpoints

No to new receipt but often they will deface original receipt to deter any attempt at repeat refund, this is not always the case though and used to be referred to as a "Golden" in the days of r&r.
