Can we please put an end to this conversation, otherwise nobody will be able to benefit from the misprices anymore as the forum will be closed just like the other one was!
I completely agree, this was a really good thread and now seems to have gone a bit wayward!Does anyone have any misprices?!?!

Went to Tesco in Purley this evening after work and did my basket shop. Picked up 4 Covent Garden risotto's. When packing I noticed the use by date on them 1st September 2007! Gross. Didn't want to hold the queue up so went straight to CS for a refund. For some strange reason I got back double what I paid for each item. SA said it is same policy as misprice. Didn't argue it but sure she is wrong!0

They're just trying to keep you sweet Bumbles. Had you taken to Trading Standards instead then they would have possibly had a fine of thousands of ££'s. Giving you double back - it's them hoping you don't report them!0

Yet you continue to shop there whilst whinging and whining about the poor service. Why not just take your custom elsewhere?0

Sorry, I'm a lerker in these parts. I worked for tesco before I got royally d!cked over by them and all these people want to do is let them know how it feels. And the staff are just as bad as the customers in getting things from tesco for free/reduced. If tesco didnt like it they would have changed their policy and removed the little scanning devices that are every where.
Keep up the good work on the misprices, its appreciated[STRIKE]£2200[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£1950[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1850[/STRIKE] £1600 on my credit card

It's not always possible to go elsewhere as for some people Tesco is the closest supermarket to them. For instance, Tesco at Littledown, Bournemouth is more convenient for me than say ASDA at Castlepoint, even though ASDA have an offer on Hipp Baby food all year round and Tesco haven't got any offers on at the moment, it is easier for me to get to Tesco than lug it all back on a bus from ASDA.0 -
It looks like Tesco has some people by the short and curliesQuotes in context only please.0

I bought some cereal from Tescos couple years ago and when I got home they were mouldy.
Took them back and they offered me another packet which I refused.
So they then offered me £2 voucher to use ( or shall I say discount) off my shopping, which I also refused.
So they said they will send it to HO , theywrote to me with a £5 gift voucher"!!! I rang them up and they told me thats all they can offer me...the cheek..!!!
I even ate some of that mouldy cereal!!!!
Next time if it ever happens agian I off to the Health Officer!!!!!!
They just dont seem to care!!!!0
