futurama series 1 box set stickered from the yellow offers box £20 charged £29.97. DTD makes nice cheap christmas pressie:beer:

This now scans at SEL price, i.e. £20.

Let's try to be nice to each other, eh - apart from the SA who told me it didn't count "as you've not left the store" and "it doesn't include electricals, Sir". Shame on you - you know you lied.

Before this thread gets shut down please can someone update us as to wether the BOGOFs are working this morning?
I tried the Sanatogen gold A-Z vitamins again in another store on Wednesday which had the correct ones and a yellow SEl underneath but it was working, the BOGOF came off so I just got my money refunded at CS. (Actually Sanatogen have another product with an almost identical name for £5 odd so I wondered if this is where Tesco go confused)
BOGOFs seem to change from day to day over the last few weeks

Thought as this thread is called "Tesco misprice thread 7 - please post only misprices here" I thought it might be nice to bring this discussion to an end.

Same today in my local store bright yellow SELsl and like an idiot I only got 2 boxes, could have risked 4 but a successful DD in a smalls store that is usualy very very keen on having the correct labels so keep an eye out for these

  • I don't know the exact prices etc as I did not get this myself - but saw a woman get this this morning at big Tesco extra.

Toaster/kettle set ( I think it was - definitely 2 items in box) black I think.

Woman was being given refund on overcharge, and sa had removed all yellow sels - so I couldn't check how much the sel said and how much they had been charged - think it was about £10 overcharge.

    In with student range.

I don't know if this is another example ( like Sanatogen) where the scanned price is not changed in line with offer sel price for a couple of days. So if you can spot this today with lower sel price, you could be in luck.

Sorry to be so vague, hope this is of use to someone

Just out of curiosity here, but do people write prices down as they do their shopping??

For example buying a printer, the price is probably easier to remember the price than say a toothbrush or can of baked beans.

How do people remember the prices of just about all they buy?

I remeber seeing the toaster and kettle pack...when they first put it out a week ago it was 29.99 or £30...but then when I went in a few days ago they had been reduced to £19.99 or £20

Oh, how I long I reminisce with fondness over the R +R. A national trader who stood up stated what they would do, and honoured it.
One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.
  • Ok, my first post in here.....be gentle with me! ;)

Went to the Borehamwood Tesco today and got hubby some socks. A 5 pair pack, black with Antasia patterns on the side, marked up at £5 but went through the till at £2.50 :D
My second favorite household chore is ironing. My first being, hitting my head on the top bunk bed until I faint.

    Yes!

Instead of ticking items off my shopping list, I put the price next to the item.

A quick check at the end of the shop spots a couple of mistakes, but can't be bothered to queue up at CS anymore as 2p refund is less of an incentive as a free item.

I guess I must buy similar things each week - the prices just stay in my head somehow. UHT value skimmed milk jumped from 35p to 44p last week
