    I expect the 39p price marked ones were old stock from a finished special offer, they probably started peeling the 39p stickers off when they realised.

    What other CARROTS are Tesco dangling? It's obviously a LEEK to sell more veg but it's got to be a parSNIP at that price. I should have BEAN there yesterday but I just COURGETTE about it cos my head was CABBAGEd. I'd been AUBERGINE's house the night before for a few beers. Sorry if this sounds really CORNy but I've just got a COB on cos I missed out on some cheap SWEDE, spose there's always Ulrika tho !!!
