No, in this example, there is no O/C - here the original poster is telling CS that they were expecting to pay £18 ('cos that's the stickered, advertised, price) but they were *actually* charged £15 because BOGOF took £15 off the bill - hence no O/C.

Buy them one by one, then you *have* been overcharged.

    BUT....

The BOGOF on Disney DVD's is advertised everywhere, including Tesco, so you would expect BOGOF on stickered prices.

The price should therefore be £10, so overcharge of £5 occurs and £10 DTD is due.

Christmas Stella Artois Film Trivia Box SEL £10 and charged £10 but in a pink merchandising tray showing £8. Not bad for £6 with DTD but expensive at a tenner.

This is the same as the filofax's last Christmas wher the merchandising trays have different prices printed on them to the SEL's.

    Hx.

I had many a good 'discussion' with CS regarding things like this last Christmas.

The sight of Tesco staff frantically ripping the corners off of display boxes was particularly funny!

Got Peter Pan stickered£10 (scan £15) and Home Range stickered £7,97 (scan £15) thought I was in for a refund on overcharge but they wernt stickered BOGOF but went through as that so be careful if buying 2. Going to take them back for refund of £15.... :(

You'll have a longer argument with CSA and probably involve management with this tactic - but each to their own. If you want less trouble and a concrete case, get them one by one.

Or saying that they were in the wrong display box.

Tesco pollok yesterday had boxes of power ranger figures marked at £4.97 its the mystic force ones so i grabbed a couple for little man for xmas but one of them didnt scan at £4.96 but at £6.97, took this to c.s and without hestitation i got £4.02 back:j The 2 kinds are the ones with the flashing shields and the other ones that you can clip the zord parts on if you know what i mean but the boxes had plenty of both in them and it was the zord clip on one that threw up the £6.97 price;)

    Thanks OP
  • Does anybody have any idea when the disney buy one get one free promotion is supposed to end? The reason why I'm asking is because my local stores have plenty of disney dvds stickered with this promotion and they are usually very slow at removing old promotions, therefore I've been able to get various freebies, and I'm hoping I can do the same this time around. I have tried looking on their website, but have had no luck. Any ideas guys n gals?
