My DH is a Trading Standards Officer, and so the legality of Tesco's and their constant law breaking is regularly discussed. The problem is the fact that the misprices vary from store to store, and TS only ever get one or two complaints at a time, and if TS are to ever take Tesco to court, you can bet your R&R Tesco won't scrimp on good defence!
Very welcome good post. Although I now spot misprices in every store i go into so I'm not clear why we seem to think that the tesco r&R policy is about keeping on the right side of trading standards unless there is some reason to suppose tesco is worse or deliberately mispricing...

Did you have to resurrect something useless from 12 hours ago? Whats the point?
To continue your theme, you do not need a space before a comma. Just one after it. Pointless and adds nothing to the thread - but at least now you know.
Wow....this could be the Golden Age for this thread. Two posts on the spin and we have all had a bit of up skilling on spelling and grammar  :rolleyes:Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -
'Up skilling'
?!?
Let's nail the jelly to the ceiling! Throw it is the think-tank and see if it floats!
What's this thread for again?0 -
I have only just logged on again, therefore only just read previous posts from throughout the night. So yes, i do feel i can make a comment if i so wish.
(Pls note the correct use of comma`s and spaces)
Anyway, i think i can here the postman at the door.........When things in life start to weigh heavy on your shoulders, and people all around are having a go, just smile and think.......Fxxk em!0 -
BACK ON TRACK..........Do Tescos have nominated charities or do they have a "charity of the month" so to speak.........The reason i ask is that if Tescos change their policy i personally wouldn`t mind getting the difference back and tescos making a donation to charity. Thoughts?
(and just for the record, i would also think other supermarkets could do the same)When things in life start to weigh heavy on your shoulders, and people all around are having a go, just smile and think.......Fxxk em!0 -
Enough of the grammar lessons, please. No matter how good you think you are there will always be somebody more pedantic who will rise to the bait.
Fortunately I'm not like that or I'd be tempted to point out that "bovvered" can be found in a dictionary here, and that correct usage of commas and spaces is meaningless without corresponding attention to capital letters and apostrophes.
As far as I'm concerned, if I can understand what you mean, that's good enough.
Like the abandoned 1950's Ford, nobody's prefectCan I help?0 -

An apostrophe is not used in the plural of a word, so it's actually commas as opposed to comma's.
Not that it matters to me anyway - as long as I can understand the basic message it's not something that really bothers me0 -
