I have been into my local Tesco and they have a Motorola W*** with the price label £97.** or £77.** when you spend £40 or more instore, on all of the other labels at the end of the 'spend £** or more instore' it has a '*' and the smallprint '*terms & conditions...blah,blah'. This label has the *terms and conditions bit, but not next to the 'instore' bit. So, can I get the r+r because of the missed '*' and can this £40 or more spend be for the phone or do I need to buy other stuff?

I hope I have explained myself clearly....

Anyone got a R&R on a fresh turkey yet?
What with all the misprices on the fresh meat, there must be at least one SEL that is different to the packaging.

Woo got my very first R+R today and it was a good one!

Big huge beef joint with £6.78 per kg on the SEL, but £7.68 per kg on the item!

I could have had 3 of them, but, as it was my first time, I didn't wanna take too much of a risk of it backfiring on me.. so I just grabbed the one.

Didn't even need to ask for R+R, the nice girl just asked for my card and the packed my lovely beef up for me!

Still a bit concerned with the lack of phones/cds/dvds available in the two stores I have visited and searched though.. perhaps I haven't been looking hard enough.

Oh, or no beer deals! Everybody else seems to be finding them, but not me.

BTW the scanner in the Chester Broughton Park Tescos is no longer there, so that'll need updating on the scanner thread.

A bit of advice for you all.

Tesco Managers now get a host (email) each day telling them exactly what is posted on this forum. This happens in all stores. Every item has to be checked.

Self scanners have been brought to the attention of head office after being mentioned on here so often and may be removed from ALL stores.

Dates on SELs and POS are also under review because of this site.

my tesco's still has the big banner outside displaying the 3 for £20 beer. has this offer expired and if so does anyone remember what beer was available and what size bottles they were?

Stella 20 pack and Fosters 20 pack, not sure on others but I'm sure someone else will know.

the two beers are on the banner ! stella and fosters ...with the size

So thanks to MSE and ALL the posters in here they have achieved something that should never have happened in the 1st place, Tesco overcharging.

We will see in due course if this is the case. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
