A little streessed I hope you thumb is ok, but please stop the whineing about not getting an r+r especially when you havnt visited a store since your last moan. I vist 3 stores a day normally when I'm out working I get somthing every so often sometimes I don't. Its just alot of being in the right place at the right time especailly in the area I cover as there are loads of other people r+ring. The tesco host list that gets sent out and hightened awareness of the tesco mispriceing by stores is making things difficult too. Just go for somthing simple stickerd items are the easiest.
Good luck0 -

I haven't actually whined at all on this new thread about not gettin R&R (only about my thumb!) I admit I was a bit squealy last week on the days I tried, but that was because I was a bit over excited by the whole thing. I cant complain if I haven't tried! My posts on here this week have been general discussion, not whining. I have been trying to pace my visits so I dnt look obvious going everyday etc. Only when I do have another failed attempt will I winge, whine and moan, until that day I will just be posting general chit chat.
Don't worry I will be sure to PM u as soon as I feel a strop coming onI'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -
ukdrummajor wrote:BACK ON TRACK..........Do Tescos have nominated charities or do they have a "charity of the month" so to speak.........The reason i ask is that if Tescos change their policy i personally wouldn`t mind getting the difference back and tescos making a donation to charity. Thoughts?
(and just for the record, i would also think other supermarkets could do the same)
Tesco have a charity of the year, as advertised on every carrier bag. This year it's Whizz Kids. The promotion alone is worth a great deal to lesser known charities like this and they get a huge wad of cash for the year.0 -
I made my first attempt at r&r today, bit off more than I can chew for a novice I thinks. Chanced my arm a an xbox 360 and any game, there was a yellow sell that I thought looked out of place with an offer of £20 off for purchasing a console and game.
I swiped the nearest scanner but no offer noted, having paid at the check out I was choked to find my less than cunning plan failed and I was indeed given £20 off.
Could somebody advise, do the instore price checkers usually indicate offers? Im hoping to learn from my mistake..... greed.0 -

I think the scanners take each item individually, therefore BOGOF & others offers wont be recognised.
Good luck with ur nxt 1!I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -

Not a good idea to use the scanners either, CS can get a bit funny if you scan something and then go for an RnR. They'll try and use this to get out of an rnr.{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -
whats hisface,
little stressed is correct, the scanners will only show you the current correct price for a individual item, it will not show BOGOFs or grouped offer items, xboxes have indeed been a little thin on the ground of late, but I am sure they will make a return. Best of luck next time.;)I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0 -
Unlucky whats hisface - I'm put off going for high priced items like that, tvs, phones etc.. would be gutted if they scanned correctly at the till.. Feel self conscious enough as it is, but to have to then 'forget my purse' I'd be a nervous wreck :-)0

Kronenburg signs still out there, look at the A4 size signs on the other 2 for £16 beer and Kronenburg is still on some (not All) of these signs. Also spotted the huge joints of beef that are on offer in the promotion end chiller, mixed in with these were Topside Rump joints that are not in the offer. No price up for the ones not in the offer so probably a case for r&r. South Wales store, if you want the store pm me.0
