Tesco Managers now get a host (email) each day telling them exactly what is posted on this forum. This happens in all stores. Every item has to be checked.
Self scanners have been brought to the attention of head office after being mentioned on here so often and may be removed from ALL stores.
Dates on SELs and POS are also under review because of this site.
Thanks for that.
Can I ask, do you symathise with RandRers, or are you a company man.
Either way it doesnt matter, but the answer will obviously show the type of questions we can ask you, and/or expect a reply from.Couponing....."every little hurts"

Was refused a R+R on some DVD's and a couple of book was emailed our local Trading Standards who went to store on my behalf and got the manager to give me an R+R. I returned with my reciept and in deed I did get almost £70 but got banned!!!!!:mad:0 -

Hey if you can get a refund out of them then go for it. Doesn't affect me in the slightest. Just giving a bit of advice is all. If they go ahead with the things I've said it's gonna make it extremely difficult for anyone to get a refund until they've gone through a till.
It's thier fault if they can't get thier prices right but a lot of the gloating on here hasn't gone unnoticed by them and has made them take action.0 -
Got two crates of Kron today, should have been charged 2 for £16. The CS woman refunded me for one of them only, meaning I'd got 2 for £9.xx. When I tried to tell her about the policy she said I'd only been overcharged on one item as the discount only applies when the second item is bought. I couldn't think of an answer so just accepted it and got the other crate refunded at another store.
What could I have done in this situation to get both free?0 -

I hesistate to name names - because I'll forget some - but lets hear it for the veterans - Ben (Welsh) springs to mind - he was and remains an early inspiration for me - his legal advice is second to none.
I thought long and hard before replying to the OP, and decided not to try and name anyone, although like you Ben500 came top of the table.
I wrote a list, but again decided not to mention individuals, as i knew I would miss people out.
I can think of another 8 at least that could be added to your list.
ps......was I that bad.......no answer required.........lolCouponing....."every little hurts"

Excellent, I'm sure we all appreciate constructive advice, and even criticism.
Nice to have you on board.Couponing....."every little hurts"

I apologise perhaps my post could have been worded better, i didn't meant to offend anyone by naming names, i was merely trying to thank the people who stuck in MY mind.
I didn't mean to start a whose who list

Your post is appreciated, but most of us already know that Tesco (or at least some stores) check the misprices posted on this site. As for price check scanners I would advise against using them anyway in case you get spotted. As for self scan tills its always best to go through a manned checkout when R&ring.
As you can see from the busy misprice thread, Tesco might be trying to stop r&r but at the moment the pricing is still incorrect in many stores.
Its nice to have lots of different perspectives voiced on the thread, hope you stick around.0 -

You could have called for her supervisor, or manager, and explained yourself to them.
As this was a "bundle" you bought, the overcharge was on the "bundle" not the single item.
You cant get the discount if you only buy 1, so each are dependant on each other, so they cant just refund on one.
Never heard this one before......they do come out with them.
You were over charged on the 2 for £16......not on one for £9.98, and the other at £9.98Couponing....."every little hurts"
