I have a couple of comments. Firstly, these threads are really useful, so thanks to the posters.
Also, I don't really see what 'TescoEmployee' is hoping to achieve. Whatever the stores do / think, the Head Office of Tesco really do seem to care about maintaining a very good image / public perception of their brand. I think that they would be extremely concerned about someone claiming to be one of their employees - and making some of the posts on this site - because it does harm their image.
I don't think that a massive company such as Tesco really cares about people (inc staff) posting R+Rs - why would they? It's peanuts to them. However, brand and image are a different thing entirely.
Also, if Trading Standards start to receive hundreds of complaints of overcharging at Tesco stores, they would have to act. I know that a few months ago, a local Sainsbury store was heavily fined for having a few out of date products on its shelves. It didn't matter that 99.999% of products on the shelves were in-date. They were still prosecuted. If 2% of transactions really are over-priced, then that represents a massive fraud.
Btw, what is 'ELP'?
Many thanks0 -
