- have other MSErs found that is actually quite hard to find any prices in some stores?
They seem so hot on R&Rs that many items are unpriced, especially fruit and veg and lots of hardlines. There is a description with the price torn off the SEL and the only way to check prices is by scanning.
I bought some reduced mini cheesecakes yesterday that had been £1.00 from £2.xx when I got them last week. There was no SEL and they scanned at 50p. No R&R, so why no prices?
Ex-Christmas line?
Nightmare to keep on top off as they move around so much when being cleared out.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -

leadhead wrote:Not at all.....go to the ethics thread and i'll try and explain why.
OK leadhead, I don't fancy doing the ethics thread thing.
I have thanked you for your knowledge in this area and you are probably correct:rolleyes:
I would R+R any item without a problem, but, I wouldn't rub their noses in it by attempting to get my money refunded twice!
I am sure that I am not alone on this issue, it would just leave a bad taste in my mouth. That's all.

No it doesnt differ in Scotland, although there are a couple of serial RandRers up there.
I did SW Scotland while on a weeks holiday and had tremendous success from the Solway up to south of Glasgow...........
In fact it was so good, I felt a lot of the CS/Managers hadnt dealt with anything bigger than a £tenner before.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Remember that Head Office is (apparently not) in DUNDEE.
I have found prices and offers are the same throughout the UK.
If anything, a Scottish accent can be a great asset when calling the first point of contact though (Dundee)
Perhaps you just need new glasses:cool: :rotfl:0 -

Dundee is not Head Office. Dundee is a Call Centre.
Having said that we all seem to refer to contacting the call centre as 'speak to HO'.
I'm afraid the phone jockeys aren't quite the real thing! :rolleyes:0 -

Just goes to show how little I know.
Well, at least Scottish R+R'ers will be able to communicate with Dundee.
Let's hope they don't move it to India;)
Thanks, I stand corrected;)0 -
