Sometimes fliers that you get through the door can be misleading or you have to look at them for a *, **, ***, ***/**,to see what they all mean.
I dont think for one minute that tesco would print a flier with a* on in the same colour as the background that would be unlike them.
I suppose this is their get out clause because people don't look what *, **, *** means, but if you read the terms and conditions then you see what each *, **, *** means admittely (sp) this is generally in the smallest writting possible and you need super vision to read them.
Also the little * that we are discussing is actually in black in the trems and conditions, i was trying to highlight it by making it red to show that there was a little * there, does that make sense lol

So what product has the * next to it because none of the items that you are showing have, you might find it is the food.[/QUOTE]
I have the same leaflet and none of the products have the star * next to them so I would presume it applys to allI'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -

I wouldn't presume anythingyou will generally find that there is a reason for * in the terms and conditions, you might have to read the leaflet throughly to actually discover one little *, it's like spotting the difference with these leaflets :rotfl:

The terms and condition will be a MINEFIELD.

Here's something different first time it has happened to me took xmas lights back today which were on a product recall I was offered £3.31 which I told them I had paid more than that originally. Phoned head office they said they were £6.67 so took refund. Then went into another shop gave them the £5 note I got from Tesco's as part of refunded item only to be told it was a fake. Maybe tesco's are getting some revenge. Telephoned the shop who said could not have been from them as they have strict procedures to spot counterfeit money (not in my case) awaiting customer services manager to ring.0

I can certainly think of many other things I would describe as disgusting
Exactly.
Retail staff (employed by any company - can't blame just tesco for that) are on a pittance, if they can get some cheap food then how is that disgusting?ॐ Signature Removed by Someones Mum. ॐ0 -

I wonder what my best bet is? My previous experience with customer service in head office has been poor but there seems to be no get out clause as I have a photo of the SEL and they admit they have overcharged me but will only offer the difference.
What do you reckon?
I reckon that you've been given excuse after excuse and the simple fact is that the manager doesn't want to give you an r&r - regardless if it's a valid claim or not.
What was the item by the way?0
