So what product has the * next to it because none of the items that you are showing have, you might find it is the food.
baking set 3 pack has 1 (i think may be just a blob)0 -

Sarcasam at it's finest
If you look a little harder the only product that looks like it has a little * next to it is the baking trays, just because half of the leaflet is printed in yellow and the other half is printed in red has nothing to do with the* regarding t&c'sHit the snitch button!member #1 of the official warning clique.:j:D

Don't know how reliable this info is, but my BIL who works on customer service desk at Tesco says that R&R policy is to end on 01/02/07, just through from head office. Can anyone confirm (or better still refute!) this??:eek:0

I was not being sarcastic (this time,as I am often told I am to sarcastic )
Sometimes fliers that you get through the door can be misleading or you have to look at them for a *, **, ***, ***/**,to see what they all mean.
I dont think for one minute that tesco would print a flier with a* on in the same colour as the background that would be unlike them.0 -
I made a genuine and clear r'n'r purchase this morning for a certain product and they refused to honour it, and was looking for some advice.
They offered me the diff which I refused and pointed out the r'n'r policy which I had just noticed. The duty manager told me they didn't have to honour it. I asked why and they said its in the terms and conditions. I asked to see them and also asked why there are no terms and conditions mentioned on the board and he refused to answer both. Then he said it was because I left the store, which I didn't and told him this. Then he said it was managers discretion and I again asked why this isn't on the board? He refused to answer.
I wonder what my best bet is? My previous experience with customer service in head office has been poor but there seems to be no get out clause as I have a photo of the SEL and they admit they have overcharged me but will only offer the difference.
What do you reckon?0 -

Call H/O again and report that manager. Keep calling again and again until you get one of the really good ones on the phone who will phone the store to give you refund as per policy. And do please ASK FOR EXTRA £10 compensation for your petrol , and/or 1000 points on your clubcard ( much better !!)....if that fails.......keep all your evidence and write to legal dept and mention county court action. That should bring them to honour the policy rather quickly !!:D !0
