I'm trying to post scanned version of leaflet....anyone help me?

Anyway - essentially it says ...and there is an asterix at this point *buy an equivalent product for less in any UK supermarket - (how do you define a supermarket??!!?) and we'll give you the difference next time you are in store...

There is no asterix throughout the leaflet so I am presuming that it refers to all products in the leaflet and in the court of law they may well presume that it refers to ALL Tesco products...THIS IS MENTAL!!! It DOES not state that it only refers to items in the leaflet either - you could take them to court on this...it's nuts! I am really sorry Tesco Employee but this a balls-up of immense proportions...

I can e-mail you the scanned document if you want - please someone confirm I am not going mad - I am going to find SOMETHING cheaper in ASDA tomorrow and buy it and then challenge this policy...

I think u need to load it onto an external hosting site, then bring it down from there.

I thought someone in the know would have answered your question by now

Well I'm always shocked and distressed when I'm overcharged, however this is usually followed by surprise and delight when (as per policy) I am told I get a full refund and keep the product.:T

Hate to be a spoilsport but ImageShack's url is actually imageshack.us

I don't think 'imageshack.com' is in any way associated with it's namesake.

Managed a £200+ R&R after 2 visits to Customer Service and much discussion.

Item bought on and refunded back to credit card.

Receipt not crossed through or written on to say the item was refunded. However, receipt had previously been signed at the top by an employee and marked "price should be xxx".

How much chance of a golden R&R?

Very relucant to try at same store and wondering if I try, will anything be triggered by details on credit card?

Also, in the store's misprice book, this R&R was highlighted along with a couple that my friend got in the last few days whilst I was with them. Will anything come of this? Assuming not as we would not have had the R&R's if Tesco did not agree with us that the misprice was genuine.

But would be interested to hear other people's views.

What do you mean...."signed at the top"......is this above the Tesco name

if it is above, its 100% golden

and if the price isnt circled, you could just cross out the writing, and make some excuse.

It isnt a problem CC wise

Did you use a club card, this could cause a problem, but only if it happens regularly.

Never do "goldens" at the original store.

Nothing will come of these entries in the misprice book....unless you RandR there regularly and use a clubcard.

The employee's signature is above the Tesco logo on the receipt. However, the writing that says "price should be £xxx" is below the logo (so no chance of just cutting it off and presenting the receipt!)

Used club card, but haven't had that many other successes from Tesco R&R-wise (save for some beer at another store but that was amongst a lot of shopping and I think I used my clubcard with cash). My friend paid with cash both times for the recent couple of R&Rs and does not have a clubcard.
