Careful of this one, scans at 297.81 in Saint Rollox store (yesterday!), so yet another one which scans at diff prices in diff stores...

Was it the carboard box with gears of war and the price printed on each side saying 297.81 because I found one of those and it scanned at 297.81.

I think this must have a different barcode to the dvd case of the same bundle and they have not put the price up on this

    Sorry, wrong thread

Hi Just read this thread for first time. Is this the policy in every store including Northern Ireland because it seems too good to be true?!!
I don't remember ever seeing a sign saying about r&r but maybe will have to look...

    even police involvement..

    How exactly?

Its not illegal, even if it is with prior knowledge of a misprice...

Its behind the folk at the customer service (used in a very loose sense) and is usually white writing on a large blue board.
There are lots of bits and pieces on the board and somewhere near the bottom it mentions if things dont add up or words to that effect.

The C.S. staff usually have to be REMINDED of their own policy lol !!!
    Onwards and Upwards ;)

Second time ever to R+R and it double backfired!!

Phoned local store 0870 to ask if they had any Million Dollar Baby DVD's for the £2.97 offer they said yes we have plenty (33 excatly). So went to Tesco store, paid the 50p (only subsided by 20p) for car park and the had NO DVD's in store, had to go through about 100 of them (as they told me at CS that I had to look for it myself on the shelves) and there was zilch!

Anyway found the Gary Barlow book as posted before with the sticker £9.XX and shelf £12.XX and put it in my basket. At checkout it scanned at £12.xx but the cashier picked up on this (so overzelous so little pay!! ) so HORROR she called for an assistant to double check the missprice and the assistant went off with my book and came back and told me that because they were all stickered wrong she'd let me have it at the steaker price!! Could not believe my lack of luck!!! I have been ripped off paid 30p for the priviledge of a book that I will need to refund (another 30p)!!

Now i'll have to wait a few days and return it I suppose. Is there a time limit and do I have to give a reason? I hate this part!!

Tip for next time. if you see a book that is stickered LESS than the scan price then go through the self service scanner then you will get away with it :T
