I still think this R&Ring is immoral.

The last time I mentioned the reasons for this my thread was deleted. It's all very well saving money, but an R&R is not saving money, it's just purposely sharing information to try to take advantage of a company's good will.

I do hope Tesco will make more profit this year, despite everyone going out of their way to get as much as they can get from them.

I'm sorry to put a dampener on things, but I really do not call this moneysaving! In my opinion, if you can't accept mistakes happen in pricing, I would recommend you shop at ASDA, Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Somerfield etc.

    Happy cheating!

Goodwill?!? Tesco are illegally ripping off thousands of customers every day. Why is an R&R still possible days after it is first posted? Why does Tesco not put extra manpower into sorting it out as soon as it becomes apparent there is a problem on an item? Because it is very profitable for Tesco!!

As someone else said, they could easily track down the details of people who have been overcharged, clubcard or not, and refund the overcharges to their credit cards.

Remember, we are often talking many pounds per product here, and not just on out of date SELs.

And that's just the obvious stuff like overcharging at the tills.

Why have I had to contact them on 3 separate occasions to beg / harrass, many times per incident, for promised clubcard points on promotions that have been sent TO ME (ie not using someone else's promotional vouchers) to be added manually, eg 1000 points for a £10 TescoInternetPhone topup which never materialised. In my personal experience about 50% of the promotional points aren't added correctly, and these aren't covered by the R&R policy so Tesco get away scot free (or at least they will until I start reporting them to Trading Standards, instead of having phoning CS 3 or 4 times for each incident).
  • If you are a Genuine Tesco Employee you would give up all this silly rubbish no one really cares about you and you are making yourself a laughing Stock.

And if you are a genuine Tesco Employee, how dare you suggest our Customers shop elsewhere because they are overcharged. You would be fully aware of our Chief Executive's views on our Customers..........without them we do not exist!!! Simple as that.

We have a Company Policy which is displayed in all our Stores and which all our Managers and CS staff are fully aware of. We are duty bound and legally obliged to stand by it. We do make mistakes on pricing, and this is why we have this Policy to cover the situation when this occurs.

Policies like this are used and abused but we all know that, it is a fact or life or in our case business.

If you really wor for Tesco, try acting a little more responsibly, and read and enjoy is threads for what they are. Life is to short!!!

The reason your thread was deleted was that it was in the wrong place. There's a thread for discussion of the morality issue in the discussion area here.
I'm sure I and others here are more than happy to have a reasoned discussion on those terms without using words such as "troll" or "cheat".
I don't disagree with any of the facts in your post, just your interpretation of them.
    Can I help?

The only advise that I have to give to you, is to P!ss off. We couldn't give a [you know what] about what you think, and to be honest, we don't even think you're genuine!

What sort of Tesco employee would refer their customers to other supermarkets. Richard Branson better watch our with people as sharp as you on the go.

So, as Nan Taylor would say, "What a load of old Sh*t !!"

As rdwarr says, theres a dedicated thread here:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=274398&page=51

where you can express your views.....

If you continue with the debate(or try to) on this specific thread you will no doubt be classed as a troll and hopefully ignored....

Pm me if you decide to go to the "ethics" thread.

Welcome to the thread....Can I ask your views on RandRing, and its exploitation, and also can you hint at what level of staff you are please.

I was once a busy serial RandRer, grabbing anything (within reason) I could, I have since mellowed....
