I am almost hoping that one of the stores refuses me an R&R just so I can use their own legal documents against them....

I suggest one of us does use this just for a laugh...

I would also like to remind our delightful customers using this forum that repeated abuse of the overcharge policy will lead to exclusion (banning) from your local stores and in some extreme cases has led to nationwide bans and even police involvement.
Customer Service Managers in store are within their rights to refuse a Refund and Retain if they beleive that (as in all of your cases) the customer is deliberately seeking to find misprices around the store armed with prior knowledge. A fact I will make every effort to remind staff in our stores of, and this website will serve as an excellent training tool to spot future fraudsters.
Kind Regards.
Translation:
As a sad individual with nothing better to do, I would like to register a new account on MSE and pretend I have some sort of high-up management job at Tesco.
I have totally failed to win any arguments in this thread or the ethics one so thought I'd try this feeble tactic in an attempt to disrupt things a bit more.
Anybody else here have an equally desperate fantasy job? At least pretend to be a footballer or a pop singer or something. Even Celebrity Big Brother hasn't opened its doors to Tesco managers yet (although I can see it coming given the haphazard bunch they've knocked together this year).
(sorry too lh, but it's more drowning than feeding)
Can I help?0 -

January 26, February 23, March 23 and 30, April 20
May 18, June 15, July 13, August 10
September 7, October 5, November 2 and 30, December 28
Being paid 4-weekly sucks big time.
The suggestion was that the day after pay day was a good time to hit as every Tesco Employee gets wrecked on cheap drugs and booze as soon as the cash hits their accounts. Pretty bizarre suggestion, tbh, but I guess any perceived advantage is worth having.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -

Is this the little cube box thing, because I know of a Tesco with a bundled XBOX/PE6 sitting at 279.xx?
Only thing that puts me off is that the SEL is correct, amd its righ underneath the box.
the hardest thing with the box thing is making sure a checkout op doesn't notice. But once you've paid and recieved stock you'll be fine - you're 100 times more likely to notice the price on that box than a tiny sel underneath...any customer would assume it was a special promo pack...
good luck!

Indeed. I think that's what I said (without actually using that phrase)

If it has changed then I've still had no notification and I checked the Promise board when I popped in today (around 11am) and it hadn't been changed at that time.
Will post later.
Definitely no change in Policy in my store!;)0
