You're most welcome my friend.....
Unfortunately though, if i'd said that in a sarcastic way on EPH, i would have received a banCouponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Well if it was a secret it's not anymore.
And no - it's not a secret - the Mods advertise it here every now and again - an open forum.
And yes - I read it - there is more than one forum out there dedicated to the R&R war against Tesco.
And yes - you are a wind-up merchant - so shut the door behind you on your way out.
Dude
PS Thought this post would have more 'weight' coming from me than one of the ELH Mods.
PPS Still drafty in here?0 -

No..that was never the case, both sites can exist, EPH has even got its own TE's.
Its so good, with such an easy readable misprice list, Employees are running round their stores with "list in hand"...........
They used to use a list from here, but the majority of misprices are on EPH, now..........
Sorry we're on the wrong thread here..above posts should be on the discussion threadCouponing....."every little hurts"

C'mon guys - it's a simple diversionary tactic....when you are putting through a DVD or Book or CD with a sticker on you simply buy a few other items you need and then put them on the belt. When the till operator is about to scan the stickered item you simply distract them with some chit-chat - I am world-class now at being the annoying person who chats with the till-operator about how busy they are tonight, or whether the weather is going to get better, or their new plastic-bag policy.... I have NEVER been caught out by a till-operator as I don't give them the chance to notice as they are too busy caught up having a pointless conversation with me....
try it - it works every time...please don't do this if you are in the queue in front of me though as it is very boring and slows down everyone else...;)Tesco is my second home:j0 -

Many, thanks, I am monitoring in case anyone pinches my ideas and posts them as theirs at a later date.;)
A good topic at the moment is 'Had a good New Years' or better still take your nutty mum with you, I defy anyone to think straight when she is talking to them. It was her birthday today and I spotted toys for her and she had a go at r&r - very successful, if she didn't drive me potty I'd take her more often.0 -
I received my normal crappy free Friday newspaper tonight and inside was a Tesco A3 flyer inside promoting cheap products and sale items etc....
Anyway...in TINY letters at the bottom of the flyer in the terms and conditions it states ... " Buy an equivalent product for less in any UK supermarket (excludes online) and we'll give you the difference next time you're in store . Receipts needed, see instore for details"
This is the most interesting development in this discussion forum for months.... either I have missed this policy or this is a new policy or a crazy new head office policy - please TE confirm if this is true?
If it is true I am going off to find one of the products cheaper - then I am going to Tesco for difference (it doesn't say I need to buy the item from Tesco just they'll pay me the difference!!!) and then I'm gonna take back original item....
Please someone with a legal mind check their Friday Free newspaper (our is called THE ADVERTISER) and see if you can clarify what they mean!?Tesco is my second home:j0 -

This could be very interesting if it includes electricals, their Panasonic plasma is currently £500 more than the currys store next door.0 -
Sorry got so excited didn't make myself clear - The policy doesn't say you have to buy anything from TESCO's - it simply states they'll refund you the difference if you can find something cheaper than on their flyer and can prove it with a receipt...simply put this means you find it cheaper somewhere else (must be possible) - buy it - take receipt to Tesco - get difference refunded - and then take original item purchased back to original store and get refund. This leaves you with Tesco refund (in cash I presume) in your pocket....
Thought I should clarify...anyone else got one of these flyers or seen something like this before?Tesco is my second home:j0
