input your file and make sure the settings are for a avi file....mpeg4 not mp4...keep the frame rate the same and you can also leave the resolution the same as the device will fit it to the screen...or you could convert the resolution to 320x240...(size of screen).
Make the bit rate about 700-800kbs and MP3 about 128kbs and your hot go. you need to make sure that there are no settings giving the file a packet bitstream..if you cant find the setting then use the below software to rip out the bitstream...the player cant handle bitstream very well...makes things very jittery.

My OH bought one of these on the advice here and loves it. He is now looking for a monthly subscription download site for music as he has quite a few old albums he wants to find. I have tried searching but can't find a thread. Can anyone please recommend a good music download site that won't cost the earth and is legal?!
Thanks.

I am currentrly using DVD FAB and need some advice on how to use it for this device.
What option is best:
DVD to Generic
DVD to ipod
DVD to PSP
Also what options do I use to put a DVD onto the media player as the media player seems to say unsupported media when I try to transfer a DVD
Thanks0 -

Total Video Converter has an option to convert any video file and extract audio to .mp3 or WAVSave saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%

That sounds good for the "won't cost the earth" part, but it doesn't cover the "is legal" bit though
If you want legal, napster is a pretty good site for this, you pay a fixed monthly fee, and you can get any album you want plus transfer this to a mp3 player with napster to go, although you gotta keep paying to be able to keep listening - see their site for more details0 -
If I have a bunch of short AVI clips (same codec, dimensions) and want to edit them without any conversion (to save time), so look like one seamless video clip, what fee program do you recommend ?0
