Other than this forum, is there any other forum about the Grundig?, Does anyone know if you can upgrade/replace the Hardrive, are there and tweaks for this device or firmware?

many thanks for that number Imho. Called it, girl have me the number for Bush customer services. Found Grundigs off the website, and after 15 minutes of waiting on hold to be spoken to (national rate) I have been told it is going to take 2 weeks or more to sort the problem. Girl I spoke to had no intention of helping any more than she had to. They send out a returns label, expect you to package it, ring and sort the courier, and send it back. They inspect it, make sure you haven't damaged it yourself and then send another out.

I know they have to make sure you aren't scamming them or anything, but it's a little bit of a long time to now have to wait before I get my product, when you consider I paid them £100 last Thursday and I won't even get to put a PMP in a charger for another 2 weeks yet!

I'm not putting this item down, it's great for the money, otherwise I wouldn't be waiting patiently for another to be delivered, but please be aware the customer service you receive is certainly not 1st class...

-How good is the camera? video recordings? As we are going away on a holiday and this sounds too good an offer to pass off.

Ordered mine on Thursday for a Saturday delivery and it didn't turn up. Rang customer services today and they say it was sent out but UPS have lost it. No word on replacement etc until they hear back from UPS. Grr...

outbackrockstar.Oh god they dont sound very helpful at all! i had the same problem with a mobile i bought,they tried to get me to send it back at my cost,but it wasnt 30 days old,so i told them to send me a paid for envelope,and i got it.
I think you have just had a "bad" one,as lots seem to have been sold and only you have the boken one,or maybe another guy on here did.
You should have looked on saynoto0870 web site for the cheap number to Bush .
I hope it all works out ok for you.Like you said its well worth waiting for.

jinkssick,i find the video is very good,i only used it once in the house,looked good.

chimpanzee23,i found using Magic dvd ripper is good ,it converts the movie as its ripping it.But i still find it much easier to record a dvd of the home dvd player

paultoon ,does it not come with a tracking order ? i cant remember if mine did now,Anyway ,someone somewhere would have had to sign for the player,so it will show up somewhere.

When I first read this thread, I thought .. 'Hang on.. didn't Grundig go bankrupt?' I was sure they did, as I used to have one of their tellies and found out while I was looking for info in it. Turns out they did go bankrupt and their name and assets were bought, some time later, by the hilariously named 'Arçelik' group. Who also own 'Beko' and 'Thompson'.
