    Hi Hastie!

I have been hassling everyone lol:p I've only contacted the estate agents as I need them to double check things are ok with the vendors. They didn't call back surprise. I don't feel like I can contact the vendors direct.:o Luckily things were going really well we are on week 5 so not too bad but things have just seemed to come to a halt.

Their solicitor seem to be sooooo slow to do anything, just got to keep pushing I suppose. Hopefully we might get an exchange date next week. :)

Thank you I bet the first few years are the worst on the MF journey.

See you soon, night night money savers!:D

Hello all, finally I have a chance to catch up with my dairies! :D

Mr.Big is back to work after having a long weekend off together.:)

I didn't get the job I applied for unfortunately, I did get through to the final interview stage at the end of the day, but I feel I didn't do very well at the interview! I got really nervous and felt like I couldn't be myself and I think I messed up a couple of the questions.
The lady said someone with a little more experience got the job. But she did say she could send me some feedback, although I don't want to read it I think it could be useful, it's all good experience as well. :) Have to say I am a bit gutted but very proud of myself just to get shortlisted. It's so hard getting a contract job where I work!
After going for this job I've kind of realized who my real friends are, a few people I know who I thought were friends, didn't even wish me good luck or ask how it went etc but anyway that's another story.

Went to the car boot Sunday:D got very burnt and now I'm a lovely shade of lobster!
We did get a few bargains! A dyson vacuum for £15 it's not brand new but it's not ancient, it will do for our first home. Mr.Big got an exercise mat for £6 we searched it on the net RRP of £20 and we got a pop up tent for £6.50 £40 in Argos! :D Also brought a Mr Wippy with flake of course as a treat was lush! :D

Got some phones for the house too, a panasonic twin pair, they were £55 reduced from £99 a little more than I wanted to spend on a pair of house phones! But they had the best spec for the price, they look pretty and I think they will last for years.

We should hopefully be exchanging this week hooray! Things are moving again at last, the vendors have been away but now there back.:D

This week I'm going to try and stay positive about the job hunt, there is another job going where I work, it's in welfare I'd really love to work in this area. Although I have no real experience in this right now. I have decided if this is where I want to be, I have to try and do what I can to get into this area.
I said to OH I may have to work in an office, he wants me to continue doing what I'm doing which is good, I just have to keep trying I will get that contract one day.:)
I have already signed up to some staff training, Im going to make sure I go to as many meetings as I can. Just make an extra effort at work.

I have also set myself some targets to keep me focused. Having OH home again I've realiszed how much he eats:eek: I'm going to start meal planning and start looking at cheep eats!:D

    So that's me! Big update:D

    Hello daily update!

It looks gorgeous out there today! I have the day off although I have a meeting later though which sort of messes up the day a little. I think I should go considering I'm trying to get a contract job and it's always good to get your face around, I know it doesn't sound like it but I don't mind meetings and training ect. It's surprising the amount of work I have gained by just being around.

I have booked in three days of training too, conflict management, drug and alcohol awareness, deaf awareness and DIY skills. =D It's all free and can go on the CV well maybe not the DIY that's more for me.

What have I been doing to be MF these last couple of days?

Well obviously putting in that little extra at work, which I'm sure will pay off.
I have searched for the cheapest quote for home insurance, I then looked at Quidco you can get £1 back if you go through confused.com I know it's really not a lot, but I'll look on their website later see if I can get a cheeper quote.
My friend told me the local college will service and repair cars for a cheepish price, I never thought of this. Also the college restaurant does three course meals for £10! I'm sure most local colleges offer services like this.
I also set some goals to keep me focussed you can find these under Little Miss Future tab.
Today I'll finish some assignments I think it would be great to finish the Health and Safety work, as that is quite dull!
I would quite like to create a training file for me, I have a file for work I would like to create a massive file even if it sits at home which has important documents I need for work maybe even put a PDP (Personal Development Plan) in there! Think I'm getting slightly ahead of myself now!
I need to just generally start sorting things out, packing (sorting before packing), sorting house things out (mostly boring things) looking for jobs, finishing my paperwork, create an action plan or similar something to keep me on track or else I get busy with other tasks. Anyway I'm blabbing.
Will update when I have something more interesting to say.

Another weekend over already it really flew this time!

House news? Not a lot our vendors have now found somewhere apparently! They are going to contact me tomorrow to let us know exchange and completion date. We will see I'm trying not to get too excited!

I have finished all my Health and Safety work. Now onto the other set of assignments I will get there!

I feel I haven't been up for doing surveys, dooyoo etc lately, so I thought hmmm I should get doing what I like! Makes sense, I was thinking of trying to get a little design work even if it's for free.
I enjoy crafty things, I'm quite into my cross stitching right now.:D I'm completing one for the new house and I have one lined up for OH's mum for her birthday.:D I thought create these photograph them and at least I have something I could add to a website etc as well as a lovely gift. :o

Me and OH go to a car boot mostly every week at the moment whilst we try and furnish the house, I could try and pick up some things from here to sell on make a profit maybe!:T
Got to try and do what you love if possible.

    What have I done today;
1.I have completed one assignment woo!!!
2.Applied for another job (which I really really want but doubt I'll get an interview)
3.Me and OH's cousin and sister in law are going to the cinema this week, we are going to try and get someone on orange wednesdays to give us the code, that's a lil cheeper.:o
    4. Had a NSD.:D

We may exchange tomorrow! About time still not getting excited though!

I'm still trying to plough through my paper work, as once this is completed I can really concentrate on upping my income, developing my design work, looking for work etc etc. Although I pretty sure the house move will take over in Aug! I don't mind this really.:D

I know I said I would make more of an effort with work stuff and people, there's a work do tomorrow night I really can't be bothered to go, but it wouldn't hurt if I did go get my face around a little more.:)
There seems to be a few work leaving do's on at the moment.

I did see the lady who did the morning interviews for a job a went for the other week, she said I was her fav candidate, I did really well and not to be disappointed to keep going etc etc really cheered me up! I do question myself a lot and things like this make me think I have to keep going at what I'm doing as I can do it and I'm good at it. :o Feeling quite positive have to keep applying.

Got myself the best home insurance quote today, I may get £45 cash-back if I go through Quidco too bargain! :D

I didn't have my lunch out today as planned so that was good saves almost £10!

Have to try and get that paper work out the way this week and start sorting out all my bits for the move!

    Soo weekly update!

We have exchanged last Friday the 8th July!:D Due to move in on the 29th and lovely Mr.Big has already started inviting people over for the day we move in!!! I know he's excited but blimey, I understand his thinking lets get people in it's not going to be a housewarming more of a tour, because the house needs some work doing. So it's going to be a building site for a few weeks, the plan is to get people in early.
Mr. Big seems to think we can just have people over without providing any drinks, nibbles or even chairs! I'm a little worried I need to sort something out! Thanks Mr.Big!

I have a bit of staff training this week and lots of admin work to do before the weeks out. I'll be buy with that I feel like I never have time to do surveys or anything like that anymore!

I think for the next few weeks I'm going to try and hunt for the best prices on stuff needed to decorate the house, create a spreadsheets with these prices yay! :p Sort out all my paper work. :) And try and look for another job.
Oh and get the best prices for gas, electric, internet etc etc....

I will try and make money when I can but realistically it's probably not going to happen.

    I'll do my best!!!

    Good luck Money savers!

Hey Cath I'm trying to catch up with your dairy I'm getting there! :D

Thanks for your comment! Yes that must of been stressful! I hope I can get a job too, just got to keep looking and trying!:)

Sorted through loads of paperwork today, recycled a load saves bringing it to the new house!
Have decided to get a safe as soon as possible, some women today walked up our drive and practically into the house as we had the side gate and back door open, we saw her luckily and she said something about wanting to buy some stuff out of the garage? I think she was trying her luck maybe thought she could pinch something. Really scary my parents live in quite a rurule location but on a busy road bit of a contradiction I know! So it's odd when we have people walking up to the house. Worried me a bit defiantly have to keep the house secure!
So been through the paperwork shreaded a load of stuff and sorted all my personal info I need to keep i.e bank statements in one folder to put into a safe when I get one.:)

Might complete some more assignments tonight get them out of the way! I feel I have been quite productive today. :T

Off to look at some paint what an exciting life I do lead!!!
