Wow!!! I’ve just read your diary from start to finish! I wasn’t getting good vibes from the start with the ex so not surprised it didn’t work out! I do enjoy reading the diaries over a longer timespan it’s like a little story and I’m trying to second guess where they’ll end up!Sounds like you’re doing well apart from the service charge is annoying but not a lot you can do about it! Just wanted to wish you the best of luck going forward xxxMortgage started August 2020 £69,700

So we all know you should never auto renewal right?! I got caught out last year and paid the price for it! This year I was quoted £491.15, checked a few comparison websites and got quoted £222.45 from a well known company. Rang my original provider for the them to tell me they couldn't match the quote.
Ran through quidco will hopefully have made £20 cashback, now have meerkat movies/food and a massive saving on my car insurance.
Saved £268.70 potentially £288.70
I am chuffed!
Thank you Martin for all your advice, I wish I had kept a record of all the savings I have made over the years!
