careful now - I would have thought the T&C's would support LAF's case to pursue for payment if you are not a AXA customer

awesomo i got my membership card last week. Dont call LA on the 0870 number. They never reply on that. Can them on 0207 366 8071 given by Lulu80. I called this number and told them my name and they told me i would get the card in 2 days and thats what happened.

Waiting for my induction now. Then free gym.

AXA have told LA Fitness to give me 6 months free membership. My membership details say that I have nothing to pay and that it is valid until July 07.

I pay AXA £17/month, not LA Fitness.

So, if I cancelled AXA Insurance Policy, do you think they would contact LA Fitness direct to cancel my policy.

I know that is underhand but I can't see how AXA would protect against that - I feel it would be too much of an administrative burden for AXA to check the cancelling member's records to see if they were part of the LA Fitness promotion.

I have just got my LAF Card! I didn't bother with an induction, i just walked straight in and started useing the gym. I have not paid anything to LAF or signed anything to them I only pay my 15.00 to AXA.

Rang up last Friday and spoke to a very rude Scouse bloke from LA fitness head office who promised me I would have it by Monday.

applyed online and sent it off on the friday 12 december. herd nothing . Recived a axa membership pack last monday 15 january , with a covering letter dated 11 january , policy inside was dated from 29 december , but no infomation bout the la fitness membership , rang axa on 08003897932 . they havent got a clue ,got some dum chap who said the offer finished on the first 31st of december . told him of it being extended ,told i was wrong , informed him to look at there own web site , he went away . said there was a problem as i applyed online an he would sort it by the end of the week .. herd nothing up to today , went to local la fitness branch , they told me to ring 0800389797932 as thats the help line , just got off the phone and they know nothing about the offer , what a supprise
