Paid £180 into my ISA, so new total is £467.28 :j
Ooh that sounds lovely, it is not 18degC here am v. jealous!
Found your diary and I've subscribed - well done on paying the money into the ISA and paying off your CCs yesterday. Are you going to have a ceremonial cutting up? I feel like having a bonfire to get rid of all my debt related stuff! :rotfl:
It took me about 2 months to close my egg card too, even though there was no interest due on it. I guess it's just their policy. Frustrating though I know...:mad:Debts at Highest £18600Overdraft £550/£900Egg Loan currently £6253Credit cards - GONE AGAIN as of 26/07/11THIS TIME IT'S FOR REAL!Aiming for DFD 26/01/20120 -

Thanks Tigermoon, I subscribed to you a few days agoI'm going to have a ceremonial burning in my new woodburning stove when I've saved up for it and paid for it in real money
It's up to 27c now, so I'm going to clean the patio and get out my hammock, at least that's one thing I don't regret buying with my card :rotfl:
The only downside to the good weather is the effect on the budget, it's all well and good carefully menu planning and keeping control of weekly food costs but it goes a bit pear shaped when your invited out last minute to a bbq because of the weather. Though I suppose it'll balance out next week when I already have a meal in hand. And hubby has gone to see if he can catch some mackerel, lovely free food.
Though I must set up an emergency impromtu 'summer fun' pot.:cool:LBM April 2011 £4906

20c at 5.30 this morning! Reached 30 yesterday which was, I hate to say it, too hot! Didn't last long in the hammock before retiring to the garden room to get out the sun. Another CC purchase I don't regret, had that one on 0% back in the day so really don't
So the down side is itwas so hot last night had to sleep with the window wide open and the curtain open a bit to let a draught in the result being I awoke at 5.30 with the sunshine and noise of birds. Not good. Though as I had just had a dream that the tax credit notice came through stopping all my payments it was maybe better than sleeping :rotfl:
So I'm going to try ring them today to put my mind at rest, can't be done with bad dreams!LBM April 2011 £4906

Oh my had the most terrible shock, there was an almighty explosion and have run upstairs to find my lovely curved glass shower screen that goes round the corner bath has exploded all over the bathroom
So glad none of the kids were in there, my middle daughter was just about to go in!

Did the shower door just explode on its own then? Glad no one was hurt.Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0

Oh my goodness!! So lucky no-one was in there! Never heard of anything like that happening before
Will it be expensive to replace? Or are you going to get a cheap and cheerful shower curtain?!
LOL at the cheerful automated lady. I hate not being able to speak to a real live person0 -
Yep just exploded, no one around, fortunately. Im in two minds whether to replace it or not. A shower curtain would just not look right in our bathroom I don't think. Will have to waste some time googling ideas. It costs £174 to replace so doesn't really fit in with my immediate plans!LBM April 2011 £4906

Gawd it didn't half make a mess! Is it new? Any chance you can get it replaced? Your bathroom is lovely! I agree a shower curtain probably wouldnt sit very well.0
