    That's faboulous!

I too am starting to save now to pay loan off - will make overpayments everytime i hit the £500 mark. Can't wait!!!

You will soon build your savings pot back up. Are you going on the MFW boards then?

    xx
    Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)

    Loan 1 £1787
    Loan 2 £1683
    Total £8601 Was £39302
  • Overpayments are the in thing! Im doing a bit extra every month and saving for lump sums too. Will be lovely to be debt free, you will need to tell us how it feels...
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Have you seen the debt free roll of honour? I've got it listed so when it's updated I get told - I use it for motivation/encouragement and plan what i will write on there once I am DF!!

No I think I'll just hang around here, I don't like change :rotfl:

Actually the fact I'm trying to pay off an endowment shortfall feels more like a 'debt' than a MFW. Mortgage will be finished in 3 years anyway.

  • One week to go and it all goes pearshaped! Well almost, I think if I shuffle things around in a 'rob peter to pay paul' fashion I can work this one out.

Dear hubby is a very wonderful low maintenance kind of guy. He has in absolutely no way been responsible for the mess I got in, unless you count not noticing. So when he walks into Harvey Nics (of all places!) and tries on the jacket of his dreams, a Belstaff Roadmaster, (apparently wanted one for the last 30 years!) and looks so incredibly good in it that my DD 17 says he could pick her up from college in that, who am I to stamp all over it. It's been 15 years since he last bought a jacket!

So we are off to get it tomorrow, praying I got my maths right!
