sky and hsbc said they had no offers at the moment but M&S increased my limit for me and gave me 0% for 6 months (2% fee).

I hope that faster payments thing does affect it. Its crazy that it takes more than 3 days for stuff to go through!

i got an offer of 0.4% and 2% BT fee from Natwest mastercard for 9 months. This was apprently reduced fee from 3.5% normal. I declined at that point but am wondering if this is a good offer?

Is that a relatively old M&S account...I've not phoned them for a while but they've said over the last 9 months that they're not doing BTs....

my mbna card must have expired cos they have sent me a new one, and they are offering me 0% on bal tfrs until march 2009,

ive got a £6500 credit limit, and my other 0% deals finish in a few months, so i will probably transfer them over to this

unless i could get a new card with a longer period of 0%, and with the same credit limit, but i dont hold out much hope.
its only a bargain, if you need it or will use it.

I've had the account around 2 years, and have done 2 previous transfers too. I have used it as a spending card for the last 6 months though.

Hi, just called MBNA and they agreed to the 0% for 9 months at 2% :D

Hi, I've just had my 2nd statement for the above bt and it says 'next months estimated interest is £1'? There was no interest added on the 1st or this statement and the card had a nil balance for about two years prior to the bt. Just wondered if anyone knew the answer before I rang them.

    Thanks

well...tried them re balance transfers as I have a hefty limit and it's good to know your options...I'm also using it as a spending card but you never know.

me : "are there any balance transfer offers available?"

"you need to wait to receive some special promotional offers before contacting us"

me : "so you're sending me one?"

them : "you need to be one of the lucky ones with a special offer"...

    THEN:

"please tell me when your car insurance renewal is"

    me... "No, goodbye..."

    welcome to the M&S tombola....sheesh!
