Have MBNA offered you this offer?? I too have an MBNA card and its balance transfer offer is up at the end of the month. I would be happy to stay with them if they offered me this. In the my account part of online service it doesnt come up with any offers, is that where yours is?

    Thanks Smythy

Yes it did come up in my account online about a week or so before the old offer was to expire, I have moved all of the current balance to another card and the 0% offer is only for new balance transfers.

I also am unable to get any offers on my mbna card :( I paid it off at the end of my last promotional rate a couple months ago, still nothing. This is a Virgin mbna card. I also have a Ryanair mbna card - neither is showing any promo rate. Perhaps I should give them a call? Do you have a special kind of mbna card?

I have a Mbna platinum card, though I do know that they only give you a promotion rate on one card at a time.

Being as my 0% is qbout to end, thought I'd contact my bank (Nationwide) to see if I'd be eligible for their Select CC with 18 months spend and 17 months BT.
The chap said no I wouldn't be until present card is paid off and then wait for a year! Then said to take advantage of offers "elsewhere". :o
Only took out the card to improve my credit rating but because of a change of circumstance, have racked up £800 spend and I'm thinking my rating (ironically) is gonna stop my acceptance with, say, Barclays. I assume criteria is the same as usual?

Hum. Forget that one, moneysupermarket says I wouldn't be eligible for any BT cards anyway pffff

But then, Experian says I could! Whether I get the advertised rate is another thing of course! Keep you posted ...

Nationwide do not do any repeat offers for existing customers, you got to close the existing card and after a year they take you as a new customer.

If you have not missed any payments on any borrowing and have a good credit file(outstanding amounts matter less than late payments) then I woud suggest apply for barclaycard and hopefully they would accept. IMH at the moment barclaycard are giving high limits and acceptance provided there are no adverse marks on your credit file. My outstanding on cards were more than 1.5 times salary still they gave me a limit 40% of my annual salary. I must say I have not missed apayment in the last 10 years and always pay a bit more than the minimum payment on all my ards. you will be surprised how a £10 extra payment helps your credit file versus minimum payments.
