I have done loads of these and only been challenged twice, there is a question on it in the report and the brief tells you what to say if you get challenged. All in they take 5 minutes to do
the ultimate in mystery shopping tips
other than burger jobs, ive never been challenged on any job ive done. some of which included a "shopping list" of 200 items to check covertly.
Its all about how you do it and how you do or dont draw attention to yourself.0 -

Actually it is a TOP TIP for someone who has never done one of these before as this is not a mystery shop in any way, shape or form!, it’s an audit. It is an overt assessment of the queues as it states on the brief. It also tells you to take the form with you and complete it as you go not type it in your phone, push it around in a trolley or any of the other of the top tips people have suggested. Nowhere at all does it say this is covert in anyway, speak to GR, as I have, and they even tell you it’s not covert. They even tell you what to say if you’re challenged, even though it seldom happens even when you do it the right way and actually follow the brief. Why people are trying to be sneaky about doing these is beyond me.
If you want a real top tip try reading the brief I find it saves a lot of messing about. Its all about how you do it!0 -

May be worth chasing them, I have always been paid the following month without fail even when they are done right at the end of the month.0 -
Dont you hate it when you grab a job real fast (as we have to ) scribble it down in your diary or anywhere and then can not remember which firm its with when you go to go and print off the notes0

Haha I used to do this all the time as I tend to grab them on my Iphone when I am out and about. Now I send myself a text whenever I take one so I remember to record it when I get home.0 -

in that case my apologies, an overt audit with a clip board is a perfectly acceptable way to do it, in fact why the need to say Challenged at all ? For most overt audits at other s/markets, I simply sign in on arrival and get a visitor badge if they have them and no questions asked by any one then.
Admittedly I haven't seen the brief for the Gr ones, as I rarely do jobs for them now as the fees seem so low for what they want, but if the brief is for an overt audit not sure why you would take a trolley to push round as that would suggest a covert element is also expected.
I usually just walk in do what im there to do and get out again asap on to the next job, but that just me.0 -
Basically, the GR is easier to do mildly covertly but it's not essential. They do provide a template and encourage you to use it. It's not in any way one where you would have to sign in.0
