Hi sweetie. Thought you had disappeared off the face of the earth. Hope you enjoy your new job. I might actually get to do some shops if you don't pinch them all. LOL. Just joking.

I always thank the alerts that I find useful, and I think most people do too. I don't thank posts if they are for companies I don't work for though. :D

Ah but mimi your missing the point. It's not how usefull they were. It's the fact that they let us know in the first place :o Those that alert don't have a clue who is registered with who. They see some jobs and let us all know. Thats why I hit tanks on everyone. For the effort they made posting, not how usefull I think it is

If that were the case, I would never thank for those that post for TMDC as i'm not registered and there's loads of alerts for those (I think u may be responsible for at least 75% lol he he he)
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

Forget the bloody alerts, look at the first few posts on this thread and how many THANKS they have had. It's bloody shameful. I know heaps of people have looked at the one with the names of companies and websites, and look at how many people have thanked it!!!

I think you are probably one of few who thank all the alerts, and good on you honey.

Yeah I agree there. I always hit thanks on the new thread starter (or say it) but forget about the main ones. My thank you will be on the thread which was running september 2009 lol he he he

It’s "challenged" because you don’t sign in or introduce yourself you simply get on with it. If you sign in and tell them what you’re going to do they would have time to “change” the outcome as it would only take a couple of minutes. If a colleague "challenges" you then you tell them what you’re doing, if they don’t then you just leave. There is absolutely no need to be sneaky in anyway.
I accept it can sometime be easier to be semi covert though but with these it makes very little difference IMO.
As for the GR being too low paid to bother with, I don’t see it that way at all, these take 5 minutes to do and another 5 minutes for the report. I find most of GR’s jobs to be the same. I would do them all day every day and make a good living from it if I could.
It’s been said many times before on here, everyone has an opinion as to which companies and jobs are the best. None are right or wrong it’s whatever suits the person
    absolutely

I tend to review each job inc travel time, time doing it inc whats actually requried, report time against my minimum level of required hourly fee (double of figures) pro rata before ill take a job.

If I have other work in an area, then i may take a "filler" job but any gr ones ive seen have been in areas i have no other work at that time, so factoring every thing in, for me its not me worth doing them, when i can be doing other stuff. its down to everyones individual standards and requirements though.

mimi you are right, I do not thank enough so have been back and added thanks and I notice that there are only 20 thanks. I shall remember next time to hit the thanks.
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

Thanks love. I just think it's fair for all the people who have taken time to set the first few posts up.

PS. Totally forgot to reply to your pm, it was Leeds-Bradford, you will know what I mean. Sorry I did not reply to your pm love. Apologies.

I try and thank when I remember, and usually with posts I end up clicking thanks when I like something, or it's funny etc! Think I must spend too much time on Facebook 'Liking' everything!!

Put of interest though, does it actually matter? I know it's nice to do, but some people, not just you miss sarah, seem to make a big fuss of it, but I wondered if it actually makes a difference?!? :)

I don't know why people make such a deal about it. I sometimes thank when a post has been useful to me (if I remember, I don't always), and I don't thank a post that's of no use to me , such as an alert for a company I don't work for. Otherwise everyone would be thanking every post and that would surely defeat the object?

I couldn't tell you what my "Thanks" rating is, have no idea, and I'm not at all bothered!! So PLEASE don't thank this post, LOL!!!
