Have got 3 possibly 4 jobs tonorrow and then another 4 on Tuesday plus one on Wednesday. Then one for next week so far but will hopefully pick up some more. Could do with some more pay now (although have noticed GR made payment on the 1st so that should come along soon).
  • I thank posts on the Alerts thread if I can see one of the jobs and didn't get an email before the alert, otherwise how do you know they're not just posting for the sake of getting a 'Thanks' as I'm sure some people will in the same way people post on Facebook for 'likes' and other forums for 'Thanks' or 'positive rep' etc? Only helpful posts should be 'Thanked' so unless it's either helpful to me (I get a job from it) or it's a genuine alert not helpful to me but maybe someone else (I see a job 50 miles away with a single figure fee but someone else who lives down the road from there might find the alert helpful) then I don't 'thank' it.

In the case of companies where I don't see the jobs then I'd hope that if it is a genuine alert other people will see that and 'thank' it, whereas if it's not I would hope nobody would (although in reality some will).
  • starting to understand.

I never knew thats how people decided whether to press the thank you button or not.

like i said, i press purley because they have taken the time to let everyone know (and i think we all know that there are many more people getting the alerts emails than actually post on the thread. some people don't contribute but do like the benifits)

Suppose i'm just easy pleased, and my BF says i'm high maintenance. HA! :rotfl:
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

I'm pretty busy this week, got quite a few GFK audits and banks and a couple of DIY stores plus my supermarket checkout sweep ;)
  • Grg payment not gone in today, I can usually set my calender by them. Hopefully in tomorrow then.
  • RE are at it again:

Q: Were the toilets clean yadda yadda yadda ?
A: N/A No toilets at this location

Proofreading query: "Are there any toilets at this location ?"

Where's the 'Mystery Shopping' thread gone? I seem to have stumbled upon the 'I crave attention and demand I be thanked for every post I make. I'm desperate to have more Thanks than anyone else because it makes me look ever so important. And I'm going to keep bleating on about it until I receive all the Thanks I think I deserve. I DEMAND ATTENTION.' thread.

Poor baby. Are you an only child by any chance?

'Thanks' for making me laugh though.
  • Oooo.. Handbags at 10 paces

On another note - should GR not be in our banks yet?

To be fair, MissSarah wasn't actually asking for 'Thanks' for herself, but for other people who take the time to post alerts.
