Ok, now I feel ill - watched some episodes of Friends and ate a big bowl of popcorn I'd made - was tasty but for next time I need to find the ultimate recipe so they are really crunchy and toffee like...

Bladder is constantly sore so the stairs we have are going to become my mortal enemy over these coming weeks, I can tell.

Thanks Bella, I am trying to be organised because I can tell taht each day this is getting harder... finding it easier and easier to lie in, especially if hubby makes me buttered toast and tea before he leaves, because it was hunger that was forcing me to get up before, whereas if i eat something light in bed I can snooze more.

Lirin hope you feel better - you can vent all you want, it makes everyone feel better to talk and you will get it out of your system too.

Think of how cute your babies toes will be!
Think of how many raspberries on their tummy you can give them!
Imagine them fast asleep and how peaceful they will be

This sort of thought always makes me smile and cheers me up if I am down.

Ahh this really made me smile :)

I've been feeling pretty stressed out the last few days thinking about how much stuff we still need to get for the baby and whether we can afford it all, but just those thoughts above have put a big smile on my face!

  • hi all i cant believe how fast this thread moves lol. iv been having strong braxton hicks about every half hour all day and low back ache was starting to worry slightly that it might be labour:eek: but think iv just been doing too much. had to go into town after work to go to bank so went into lovely cafe and tret myself to tea and homemade gooey choc cake (well the baby wanted it :D) decided i wont get the chance to relax like that much longer so better make the most of it. had a lie down when got home and braxton hicks eased off but they start again if i start walking around so will just have to sit :rotfl:going to have a nice soak in bath in a bit and lie in in the morning so i can chill. ELC has a sale on at min and baby stuff is half price so have bought 1 of everything for xmas box :D OH just shook his head.
hope everyone is feeling better now lots of people seem to be having a bad time big hugs too all of you.
and labour vibes to the people who want them.

Just making my monthly visit to say hello.

I just realised how oddly active and mobile I am. Anyone else find they bound around at 37 weeks pregnant?

If I recall correctly (shoot me if I'm wrong :o) aren't you slightly younger than average or am I getting you mixed up with someone else?

I had DD1 at 17 and my twins at 19 and was bouncing off the walls all the time until I went overdue.

The last time (age 25) and this time, it's been hell.

Just enjoy it, I'm so jealous x I can't stay awake lol.

    22, I thought I was older than average :P

Don't get me wrong, I get lovely girdle pain especially in bed and then hobble, but the OH says I am rather mobile and suprise him with my "antsiness"
