I've not had any freebie packs frm anywhere... didn't last time either.

toenails are easy... bum on seat foot on box as close to seat as you can get it.. or put your foot on the opposite knee.

With the others I would put one foot on the toilet seat and do them that way.

I have to pause after every 2 or 3 nails after about 30 weeks but given I have gained up to 5.5 stone by then it is hardly surprising.. but really easy.

Sitting cross-legged does it too.. having a large tum doesn't stop your legs bending or folding.. there is always a way!!!

Hehe I am desperate to paint my toenails and was thinking I will have to employ OH to do them . Failing that, might have to find pennies for a pedicure next week some time.

Right odd question - at parentcraft class yesterday we were advised to buy wide necked vests for the baby when he's newly born. Now I have bought a few vests mainly from tesco but they don't look particularly wide necked - does anyone have any advice as to where such items can be found or shall I just manage with what I've got? Thanks

Yes, and I think there's two more after that from Bounty. Haven't claimed my Emma's diary one yet, but must remember to do this!

PB - I did a little, I spent some time with the folks, then went to bed early to watch a DVD. Still feel very tearful & missing hubby so much, doesn't help he's really stressed too, so makes me feel worse. We were planning a nice weekend, but he's decided to fly back to Scotland on Sunday night instead of getting up at 3am on Monday so we're not going to have Sunday together now :( Just wish there was an easy answer.

The ones you have will be fine.. they usually have overlapped bits on the shoulders or are plenty wide enough anyway.. I know the tesco ones do have.

    Hi ladies.

Havent been posting for a few days as Ive been busy. Having a bit of a bad week really! Messed up with the cars MOT and didnt realise it is due this week and thought it was due the end of the year so not only do we not have any budget available for any problems, we have to have the car in for it to be done in the week the baby is due and we have to travel 45 mins to the hospital.. Expecting a couple of things to be wrong so not looking forward to hearing what it will cost.

Another thing is this morning I got a letter from DWP to say my application for the Sure start maternity grant has been rejected. :( Was told on this forum that I should get it since we have a low income but guess not. Ah well, will figure something out!

Baby has been mostly quiet, I dont know if I should be worried or not, he still moves but not near as much kicking/hitting as before.

As for the sickness, yes it seems to come back. Havent been sick so far, just retching which hurts with a bigger baby in there! Not long to go now though! Have been told my bump is huge... thanks :o just what I want to hear lol.

So you have other children supermaiden? Rules changed recently re the Sure Start grant so you only get it for your first.
