I did ours in about 6 weeks a couple of years ago, it was hectic but I had much more fun organising it that way than I did with my first wedding which took over 18 months to plan!
I love weddings, quite often think about setting myself up in business organising other peoples weddings...mmm...maybe one day!0 -

mr_knight I only have 2 weeks of work left and then 4 weeks holiday before maternity leave. Can't wait! Was advised by the consultant to leave as early as possible.
Having a chat with OH this week hopefully about what will happen when babies arrive. Both getting very stressed so have decided to treat it like work and have put together an agenda:- Finance
- Living arrangements
- Logistics
- Equipment
- Additional Worries
We are generally an open couple but both get worked up when these subjects are brought up so hoping to get out the house and work through them one at a time so we don't get too emotional. Think my main problem is we are going to have 2 newborns in a 1 bedroom flat where we don't have enough room for 1 moses basket let alone anything else. (thats with all our stuff in storage)
A women i know didnt buy a double buggy for her newborn twins she brought a pram and lead them both in there. she had one moses basket and put them both in then one cot with them both in. she used one highchair and they took turns to eat. She said they have been living inside my belly sqwished together they are used to it. they always seemed happy enough:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

hi
yes i know of twins who shared a moses basket and then shared a cot until they were over 12 months- they slept cuddled up together and cried if they were put in separate beds...

hey all, i have had a very busy, stressful and annoying afternoon.
went to the midwifes at 12 she tested wee and i still have sugar in it so need GTT? Glucose blood test monday.
I told her about down below being uncomfortable and she asked millions of questions and didnt seem to listen to the answers. she asked if i had had any discharge i said yes i have notice my underwear has been damp the last few days. i have been sweating loads more so though it might be that.. anyway she decided i needed to go to the hospital where i am booked to have the baby. She said it sounds like my waters have broke.... i was not convinced so off i had to go straight to there do not pass go do not go home do not get lunch....
got there was monitored for 20 minutes baby is fine. she took a look down below uterus is very slightly prolapsed but should go back to normal if i do pelvic floor exercises. she took a swab and sent for testing.
It took me 1 hour and 35 minutes to get there thanks to that bike thing closing all the roads cost me £3 in parking and took me from 12- 4.10!!
I wish i had done a pigpen and ignored them i knew what was going on
I now have some stuff from the doctors to prevent the constipation ... it is foul... called Fybogel.. i downed the whole glass after having a sip and thinking yuck. anyway half way through the glass the first half starting coming back up.... sick and very very gross..
Need other solutions for constipation please there is no way that is going to stay down
anyway i am knackered and grumpy. other half was a complete git today (we dont live together) i text him from the local hosptial "have to go straight to the main hospital to be monitored it seem all may not be well midwife thinks my waters may have broken" he text back.... "okay babe let me know how you get on"
Hence he is in my bad books big time!:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

heres a good piece of useless advice for you all. if you are refused waxing, and try to do it yourself then decide you cant see your bits nevermind wax them...dont use face hair removal cream on them...it hurts alot..trust me dont do it0

oh on a plus note this morning before my little world feel apart i went to asda and got 3 more huggies baby boxes and 13... yes 13 free packs of huggies wipes with the voucher i collect..
I then swapped the 3 packs of newborn nappies for a big pack of pampers nappies in a bigger size in Sainsbury! well chuffed. naughty i know but it isnt doing anyone any harm and saving me a fortune!
come on peeps in labour hurry up and fill us in!:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j
