I ditto Kira, and recommend a nice bag of dried apricots or prunes. If you have a Home Bargains near you they sell them for 99p a bag. It works for me! Oh and make sure you are drinking plenty.

On my day, i'm quite chuffed. As well as my win on not starting my mat on a sunday yesterday, i tackled our HR team on bank holidays today (thanks WW!!). I quoted the direct.gov/employees act and E.C.J ruling on benefits whilst on maternity, and the woman said she would check and come back to me. 3 hours later, an email saying i can have all the bank holidays that occur whilst on M/L. I make that for me, an extra 4 days off!! And the two in June, will be in my post m/l but on carried over annual leave, so will be 2 less days of leave to take. Think i am going to use the extra days leave + annual leave accumulated/saved to work a 4 day week for 2 months, so i get the full pay to boost my income again, with the P/T hours!

where is everyone getting these vouchers from, I dont have any vouchers and could do with stocking up wile they are cheap

    Nappies...

I am guessing you guy will find money a bit tight with your new additions coming soon. I thought i would let you in on the best offer ever.

Asda baby event have boxes of huggies newborn nappies, a pack of wipes and a hat currently in thier baby event offer. They were £5 but are now £3 which is amazing value. Anyway if you buy one and go out to the car open it carefully and inside are vouchers for £5 off.

£2 off little swimmers nappies which if you kepp and take to tesco they are currently on offer for £2.95 a pack instead of £5.95! so use the voucher you get them for 95p

£1 off huggies pure wipes which in Adsa are currently reduced to £1 a pack from £2.59 in the baby event so get free wipes if you use the voucher.

£2 off any huggies newborn nappies- use these again in Asda to buy another huggies newborn pack inside you will find the vouchers to do this again.

If you havent already joined the Asda baby club join it and you can print a voucher for a free huggies baby pack worth £5. you get the box for £3 and £2 off your shopping. When you print the voucher it will ask if it printed correctly click no and you can print a second voucher.

I have done this loads of times and have a huge pile of free nappies and wipes!

also if you join Emmas diary you can get some free stuff from either argos or lloyds chemist in there is a small pack of wipes and 2 sample huggies nappies along with a voucher for £1 off huggies newborns i have been using those to pay the extra £1 for the newborn huggies packs making them completly free!

  • Hey! Boots have the huggies starter sets for £2.50 at the moment, with pack of nappies, wipes, hat + vouchers.

Someone mentioned using their vouchers from the free asda ones to get them for 50p but didn't try it as I spent my advantage card points instead!

Going to use my newborn nappies vouchers on the Sainsburys 1/3 off huggies newborn offer (makes if 4.65 for 54 size 3 or 62 size 2).

Chuffed with my abundance of size 1s for next to nothing, picked up 3 starter packs today, will get another 4 in asda tomorrow (hopefully, with vouchers, 2 I got and 2 someone else got me), bought 2 packs of pampers aggges ago and 3 other family members joined the asda baby club and got me 6 sets! Will probably end up with too many but for a grand total of £8.70 I won't mind passing them on!
