Jen- i would try eating a nice bag of dried apricots or dried prunes. Which ever you feel you would prefer. That should sort the problem out in very short order!

If you join the Asda baby club, you get a coupon for a free newborn starter pack. I joined and so did my other half because he has a separate address. In the baby event they've been on offer for £3, and they have a load of coupons on the inside (£5 in the ones with £5 of coupons marked on the outside). One of these is a £2 off newborn nappies, the other is £1 off wipes. I took the coupons from the first two boxes and used them to get two more for £1 each. Today I took the £1 off wipes coupons, and got 4 free packs of wipes.

Lol, if I could afford medicine, I wouldn't be blagging free baby wipes! :D

sounds great thank you, i will have a look on the asda site now.
i'm here contracting roughly every 7 mins - have been for quite a while, coping ok though, even if some of the contractions are rather fierce. TENS is sh*te and is getting in the way, but don't want to take it off just in case it is doing something :rotfl:

i'm blimmin tired after not having had much sleep. and we've not long found out that we can't have a home birth if things progress tonight as there aren't enough midwifes on call, we do, however, have a room guaranteed on the midwife led birthing unit because of this, which i'm quite happy about.

i'm back off to wait again now!

congrats to all those have mummy cuddles and huge vibes to all the boldies :D

good luck with the labour hun, i hope it goes quickly for you

I now have some stuff from the doctors to prevent the constipation ... it is foul... called Fybogel.. i downed the whole glass after having a sip and thinking yuck. anyway half way through the glass the first half starting coming back up.... sick and very very gross..

Need other solutions for constipation please there is no way that is going to stay down

Sainsburys All Bran every morning with raisins and whatever fruit I have lying around, brown or granary bread only, no white bread. Lots of salad with lunch. If I feel the need, I add an extra bowl of All Bran later in the day, seems to get things going!

Oh, and plenty to drink too :)
  • oh boots has the huggies starter pack on offer at the moment for £2.50 obviously youcant use the asda voucher there. but still could be worth it if you need to stock up on more because you get the extra vouochers inside the sleeve. also with the swimmers voucher, tesco have them on offer so works out around £2.00 for a pack of swimmers and a towel

Well... i just had to update you all and say that i have had a big bowl of angel delight, again! Butterscotch flavour! Ive held off scoffing it all week. :A

Had the real stuff this time (last time was tescos own version) and i have to say, the real thing is much better. Tescos own has a funny aftertaste, i think may be the type of sweetners they use. So, i think i shall splash out and spend the extra 9p on buying the real thing from now on.

Excited about all the new arrivals on here over the last couple of days. :T:beer:

Asda have the little swimmers starter pack for £3, I got one with my coupon, so only paid £1. Not sure if we'll go swimming that early, but then I thought the little towel was probably handy enough for the pound. They've also got the ordinary packs for £3 too.

Other half has just phoned, we've been offered a cot, a changing table, bouncy chair, stairgates and high chair for free. I don't know what they look like, but that's quite a bit we won't need to spend. :)
