As long as mine is human, which judging from the last scan on Weds, that's a fair bet.... :)

Just catching up on the posts since last night - I can't get out of bed much before 11am these mornings :o

Mirrorimage - morning sickness can come back in the third trimester (and at labour too) - I've been sick once or twice recently though it's not as bad as the first trimester.

Anyone else having very vivid dreams? It's supposed to be fairly normal but last nights was horrific. Me and a group of unrecognisable people (except one being my ex boss) were taken captive & told by other people that they're taking everything we have, money, homes, clothes etc - even my baby's clothes though I held onto a not so little yellow sock (I don't even have any yellow socks for Giblet!) - and I started crying to a fellow prisoner that they were going to take my baby away from me once it's born! I almost jumped off a stairwell to kill myself rather than them do that. Didn't wake up in tears, but it was so real :o

I didn't even have any cheese last night....

    C xx

Yes Skint_Catt!! I had a horrible one the other day where my DS1's whole football team went missing. Then I found a little boy I didn't know in my cupboard but although I didn't know him as such I knew he was DS3?!! He looked like the other 2 and sounded a bit like DS2. Anyway he said there was a bad man that took the boys and hurt him but he hid in the cupboard! I woke up in tears it was awful!!
Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!
  • I don't sleep enough to dream at the moment :( but I did have a few weeks dreaming about people dying all over the place, didn't like that much, think I prefer not sleeping tbh!
  • TY skint catt, didnt realise that, never had morning sickness with first at all, with the second i had it constantly the whole way through and this one i havent had it since around 5 months. would be nice to get a bit of warning next time rather than just wake up being sick lol sorry to much info i know. its good to talk. x

absol;utley shattered today, hope everyone is doing well. oooh just realised pigpen hasnt been on today hope she is ok.

  • Lol I know what you mean Mirror! I've got all the babies stuff done, its just the stuff for me I need to sort out. I haven't bought any nighties and I'm not sure whether to bother either. I've got a big t-shirt for labour which'll do and some normal pjs for afterwards. Need to get nursing bra's though. Maybe I'm not as ready as I thought I was...

My bag is packed. Maybe over-packed, I'll look tonight. I only live two miles from the hospital! Might lug some of the rubbish out....

I'm 29 weeks today, which is almost 30, and with all the ladies hopefully currently in labour, it's starting to get very, very real....

Has anyone else had the thought 'Right, stop the ride, I wanna get off?' I do want this baby, definitely, but the labour side is approaching fast, and I've discovered while broken bones and open wounds don't bother me all that much, the thought of labour is turning me into a wimp. Millions of ladies have given birth, and I have science on my side- it's still not something I'm looking forward to all that much. Afterwards- yes. When I get to find out if Hitch is male or female, and we sort out our bets on a 3 course meal (closest weight gets starter bought, gender buys main, arrival date gets dessert bought- my DH and I got a bit competitive)....
  • Hiya. Babyboy born at 11:16pm last night (15th Sept). 2 weeks early thank goodness as weighed in at 8lb 2oz.
Very fast delivery in the end. Not much happened for 24 hours after my waters broke, so returned to hospital as instructed at 9pm. Still 2 cm and baby's head not low, only half engaged. Admitted at 10pm to a ward as contractions were getting frequent and sore ( and previous delivery very fast). After 15 minutes I was 6cm and stating to scream. :o Got wizzed through the corridors to a delivery suite in the home from home. And baby was out by 11.16pm. Obviously no time for any pain relief, just gas and air. Found it all a bit intense, but otherwise alright. Few stitches, and back home 14 hours later.

Baby has done nothing but sleep. :T has managed a few chews on the breasts them back to sleep again.

Haven't read back yet, hope everyone else is OK.

And by God it's GREAT NOT BEING PREGNANT! :rotfl:
