He arrived at 10.22pm, much to the midwife's surprise that I gone from 5cm to delivered in 7 minutes!
Congratulations MrsSpendalot!!!It sounds like you had a rather exciting time. I had no idea things could happen so quickly!!
I hope you manage to get some sleep, you must be knackered!

Good luck Amfodyndad, hope baby arrives sooner rather than later.

Mancbird, I hope your cat returns home!

My 27 week bump is now big enough to balance stuff on (if I slouch) :D

Alison I know what you mean re: bump, a tray no longer does the job for me, and at 35 weeks I am not that big! Food drops everywhere and OH finds it hilarious that I can't find a pea that has fallen by the wayside...

Walked to the postbox twice today, plus gardened, so that's quite good exercise at this stage methinks!

Squeak thinks my bump is a pillow... or a chair.. she is less impressed on the very rare occasion she gets a kick in the head.

I have no room on my lap for a plate so drible stuff down my front.. I have taken to eating with my plate under my chin to catch my spillages!

We are fine for tax.. motobility vehicle means a.. we don't pay it and b... it is due December so we are glad we don't pay it! lol

I've caught up with my washing and almost killed myself carrying basket on basket outside to hang it out... just 2 more lots to go out but it is raining!

That is good exercise Sparkle! Well done keeping so active!
I haven't got the the dropping food stage yet, but I'm getting further away from tables etc, and it's getting a little tight getting into train seats and toilet cubicles :-)

Hells bells, that's not a bump! Where's the rest of it? Bet you don't get asked every day "are you having twins?"
Your innards must be pushed into all sorts of weird places to make room for a 5lb+ baby in there :D

    Hope your back is easing!

in fairness i have no stretch marks .......................... yet. but alot of my older ones have started to show. however with my first baby i thought i did so well and i had none then about a week before i looked in mirror and under my bump i had sooo many. hubby said he didn't like to tell me but they had been there for a while, lol. once i saw them then i got them all over my legs, hips , boob's. my body looked like a road map there was so many.

they had faded to a silvery sort of colour, but are now looking pinkish. and my b o o b s have loads over them it feels so uncomfy.

I actually feel very big, as my bump feels high and is so firm it is uncomfy.

back is a bit better tho, thankyou. i'm sat snuggled on sofa doing some sewing as hubby working till midnight and i can't go to bed till he home, feels really odd to.

Mine is laid very low curled up in my pelvis so is incredibly heavy and I feel pressure on my cervix constantly.. looks like it'll not be moving as it hasn't moved in the last 2 months
