    Congrats MrsS

Things are progressing here! Was at the hospital last night as OH hadn't felt baby move much, whilst there, she was having contractions lasting a minute each and 2 mins apart, and had a 'show'. Had an internal and found she was 2cm. Been back today and she's still 2cm and contractions have slowed down, but at least things are starting to make a move. Won't be long now hopefully!!

Congrats MrsS glad it went well and that you are now home - can't wait to see piccy!

Amfodyndad hope things go quick for her and you both get baby cuddles soon - it must be very exciting but scary too...

Mancbird hope kitty turns up soon for you, they can be mischevious and then decide to have a few naps, fingers crossed for you.

White clothes wash all sorted now and halfway to being dry, watched a movie and now going to have another look online for canvases for nursery decor - can anyone recommend any websites?

Thanks!! She's having a much needed nap at the minute, so when she's up we're planning on going for a walk to see if the contractions will start up again. She had her curry for lunch so hopefully that will kick in soon.

Also, she ate a whole pineapple the night before the contractions/show/dilation so she's convinced that it was all down to that :D

Not to burst your bubble but I had that for weeks with DS1 and the last 2 weeks were hellish.. constant pains every 20-30 minutes day and night... followed by a 34 hour labour!!!

Hopfully things will move for you both soon

Thanks pigpen, cheered me right up :p I'm a realist, I know it can still take days or even weeks but it's nice to know that things are moving and the end is in sight. She'll be bouncing on that ball all night tonight trying to get little un to make an appearance.

Anyway, must dash to the Post Office and tax the car :( road tax is so depressingly expensive!

I'm so glad you posted that, knew there was something I had completely forgotten to do! :o
  • Eek, ditto! Got in the car after work and went "ARGH, Road tax!!!!" So shall need to find my reminder letter tonight.

Second scan tomorrow, not looking forward to travelling 20-odd miles while needing to pee.

JJ been an active little !!!!!! today, seems every time I sit down there's movement!
